True. We are not. And probably wont be in long time. This attack has naturally made many people go on panic mode and are now screaming "join NATO NOW" but doesnt work like that.Hey Finners, if memory serves your lovely country is not a member of NATO... Is there any change in Suomi public opinion on this topic, given the events of the last few days?
Back in the day I loved tuning into Radio Moscow and Radio Tirana. Passed the time on long winter evenings listening to comedy ?Considering where I'm from, where I live and what I do for said life, I'd say I'm very much educated on what Russian propaganda is.
If you wanna watch RT, it's great, go watch it, you can do so online, they'll definitely be very pro-Russia. Except in English, that's the difference. But it's what it is - Russian propaganda. How great Russia is doing. The greatness of the Russian army. The Russian people are all in favour of Putin and behind him.
Sort of is, sort of isn't - they've gone through a de-nuclearisation for quite a while now.Wait, what? You're sure there's nukes based in Ukraine? Is there anywhere we can read about this - that's like... brand new information.
Big battle going on at Antonov airport. Russian airborne assault captured it earlier today now Ukrainians are blasting the hell out of it and are now assaulting with special forces in an attempt to recapture it.
Forza Ukraine!!!
Depends what you mean by "our". Its not that difficult to find more than one source of independent reporting. Tbf, today there has been a lot of misinterpreted or wrong reporting and thats by design as well, of course. Our 'take on it' is no different, it's still out and out propaganda from our side. Vested interests. This is economics at war, nothing else.
I think that has been stepped back now and fighting continuesUnconfirmed reports from Ukrainian defence ministry that Ukraine had regained control of the airport. In his own words Russian forces holding the airport have been “liquidated”.
Uncle Earpiece thinks Ukraine is cow breed.@TheFinnFan you standing for this Biden bashing? When he's sent missiles to the Ukraine?
Why good? Are we not able to digest their take on the situation? Or we just blindly accept our own propaganda? Because somewhere between the two lies the reality.
These are much different times than past conflicts.
I haven't, because... well, age really, but my parents (and their parents etc.) have told me about it. However, we didn't really have a choice to switch to many other stations lolBack in the day I loved tuning into Radio Moscow and Radio Tirana. Passed the time on long winter evenings listening to comedy ?
We have governance that knowingly harms its own people, for many, many years. We live by a system that pays off debt with lives.Sure, but our take on it is that of the non-dictatorship that harms its own people. Also it's partial to Ukraine, obviously, but it's not like no one is reporting anything about the Russian side of things.
Not really 'sort of' - Ukraine has zero ability to utilise any kind of nuclear weapon. There's no way they could have maintained and paid for the upkeep and delivery mechanisms needed to do that without the west/Russia being acutely aware of it.Sort of is, sort of isn't - they've gone through a de-nuclearisation for quite a while now.
AP are also more or less impartial, or at least report on everything.I imagine Al Jazeera is as close as one could get to a non partisan account of what is happening.
At the risk of sounding pedantic, it most certainly IS an option. How?
Respectfully the US or NATO sending in troops is not a possibility.
It's whether you see this then as desperate times? Ukraine falls but would they want to kill millions to save themselves?Point being, and I'm sure there are nukes based in Ukraine, if Ukraine is desperate and they have control it's easy to see that desperation translate onto the battlefield
