Sadly, I think it'll take a while. There's bound to be a drop in the market, so properties already on sale (like ours) will almost certainly have to be revalued. Now is usually the best time of the year to get on the property market, but it wouldn't surprise me if this year is largely a write off.

our house is already sold was meant to complete tomorrow before this happened so I doubt there’ll be any revaluation. There must be many people in our situation who don’t just want to move home, bit absolutely need to. Surely a house move can be facilitated adhering to social distancing? The economy needs the housing market

That's exactly why we have such high death rates in this country, we look at Germany stats and the fact they will be back to normal soon, then think about another 6 months under our leadership which could easily end up being 18 and beat ourselves to death with a door frame. Cause of death: Coronavirus stats.

No, that’s how it would be recorded in France, in Germany it would be Head Injury......

The UK’s numbers are following Spain, Italy and France. Sweden’s numbers are also keeping in step with the U.K. so I would think they are broadly correct. The only EU country out of step really is Germany and I simply do not believe their death numbers for Covid19 anyway, they’ve just put the deaths down to other issues......

Maybe mate, it’s hard to draw conclusions based on the incomplete data in my opinion, but likely most countries infection rate are inaccurate. Our R-nought dropped to .9 today, do I trust it, no way, we’re not testing enough and we’re not bad per capita comparatively.

On reflection, you query Germany’s numbers and honesty, a lot of people query China’s numbers and honesty in reporting. If those suspicions are valid, you just have to query the validity of the information the UK Goverment is releasing as its comparatively at worst suspicious, but as I beleive is unreliable and incomplete as the government themselves have acknowledged they don’t have the infrastructure in place to report the total RIPs figures outside of hospitals accurately. That incomplete could be a huge data set.

Im not trying to be a damp blanket and I hope the UK smash the curve, but people are itching for restrictions to be lifted or to be told we’re on top of this. It’s important the public have a real sense of what’s going on, there is every possibility the UK RIP figures could be anything from double or south of that as a %, that puts a complety different spin on what, when and how things should happen next. People need accurate information.

There is a war going on outside of hospitals, I’m not sure people understand the clinical pathways of people in care homes, people in care homes usually have a DNR status in the vast majority of cases pre determined, decided likely without a pandemic in mind, hence people with covid 19 are not being transferred from care homes to the acute setting in hospitals and end of life of the virus is being manned and managed in the care homes. Some will be becoming more like hospices then Care Homes and complex medical need is being managed in these settings. This scenario isn’t being accounted for in the UKs figures.

From another forum I frequent, no idea how true this is though the poster (not a whopper at least based on previous posts) did say it came from a specialist at St Thomas':
  • BJ was never on a ventilator but was on a cpap machine and was "really quite poorly"
  • BJs hospitalisation coincided with a "massive" increase in "gardeners" working the hospital grounds
  • there are 138 ventilated patients and 330 patients on cPap
  • none of these are over 70. None of them are under 30
  • intakes into Tommies for Covid19 are decreasing
  • Covid19 came to the country from Birmingham Airport.
  • from tracing the bloods they now know the virus has about 400 strains in UK.
  • this is why some people show different symptoms. It's entirely possible to be exposed to hundreds of these strains and none of them will affect you.
  • the mutated strains seem to be where an infected person infects another person who has something wrong with them. This creates a mutation. Depending on the recipients underlying illness or combination of this creates a new mutation.
  • priority is to find a common strand for all mutations and halt that strand
  • the PPE we ordered was from China. There was enough for everyone but on testing it was found to be only 95% accurate.
  • Donald Trump invoked a law from after the second World War to prioritise buying all the stock from Roche in Germany.
  • our PPE and testing is behind because we had to wait for more stock from Roche.

I don’t. I’m just looking for a sensible explanation as to why two first world countries, next door to each other, have the same number of Confirmed Cases, but one has 4x the number of deaths to the other. They have all been tested, all confirmed, but one group has a higher mortality rate. Yet if I suggest that Germany may record a death as heart failure yet France would record the same death as Covid19, everyone jumps in to say the German‘s are managing it better.....lunacy...
Let me try.

Germany tests person A how shows no symptoms - person A comes up positive and has infected 3 other people, those people are quickly notified through contact tracing and go into isolation. Maybe one of them dies, unfortunately, but not likely. This cluster has been stopped.

In France, person A shows no symptoms and is NOT tested. So they continue about their daily business infecting people. They infect 125 people. Much more likely to have a death.

Ergo, the suspicion would be that there are many, many unknown/unconfirmed cases in France, whereas Germany has a clearer picture overall.

Really, Covid is a hybrid virus of SARS, a virus found on a bat in 2017 in China and HIV.

It is a manufactured virus, so say numerous geneticists and virologists that have studied the sequence of the genome, this virus has spread faster and wider than any of the other members of the coronavirus family we have seen up till now, and that is because it's been engineered to do so.

In Wuhan is China's most advanced facility for studying and developing viruses and pathogens, lots of published scientific papers on the net from the Wuhan institute showing what they were doing with Coronavirus, experiments, studying how they transmit to humans.

I don't just pluck crap out of thin air and form an opinion, I'm reading and listening to very clever people on the subject.

Manufactured virus by China, the only question is was it's leak sinister, and there is a lot saying it could have been.

The world is going to basically sue the ass off China for this, lawsuits already being discussed and filed by several countries amounting to trillions.
Trump says this on a daily basis

I was probably a little obtuse with the last comment. Your question is a great question--why do two nations that have the same # of cases, more or less, have different death counts, if the disease is presumed to spread in a normal way through a population? But it also begs a similar question--why do two nations have the same # of cases, more or less, when one of these nations has tested 6x as many people? Unless the disease spreads differently among the two nations, it's reasonable to believe that the nation that has tested fewer people actually has far more cases than is actually reported. And so these two nations may have similar death rates if the case counts were both correct.
