The reality is that Russia's invasion of Ukraine is mostly about oil and gas. Please watch the following video - you'll love the first ten minutes, which spends time analysing the military / security issues... But you'll deny / ignore the latter section, which explains that Russian designs upon Ukrainian territory coincidentally match the areas of Ukraine where natural gas, shale gas and oil were discovered between 2010 and 2014.
