You mean we as in UK? Nobody is going to do anything to risk escalating this, which I agree with, in terms of using Air assets. If NATO targeted that convoy it changes the landscape completely.

The video today that struck home with me was this one.
No idea what happened next, but the fact the Russians didn’t just steam through them is telling.

100% agree with you, the soldiers in that video do not want to fight. That’s why Russia won’t win this war, they are asking their military to do something you can pretty much guarantee the majority aren’t comfortable with. Compare that to the Ukrainian forces and people fighting for their very existence and it means a very long, expensive war for the Russians. I feel sorry for their army and the people of Ukraine.

More likely a load of tanks that work but have no fuel and personnel who have no food or supplies to continue. Don’t get me wrong, I’d love to see that convoy decimated and the Russians to retreat, but I’m not sure the Ukrainian have the capability to do so. If they did that convoy would be gone by now. Weren’t they using Turkish drones the other day to target tanks? Hopefully as the EU provides more weaponry they can start to make inroads.

The location of Turkey is what ‘we’ should be using.
I’ve been on many Navy exercises in that area and if the UK just showed up and stationed our carriers and a couple of Type 45’s there then the game changes.
Yeah, it’s a show of strength, but isn’t that what’s needed right now ?
