This has been found to be the case in published research as well. If you take one of these sorts of games, and you administer it to USAF officers instead, they do considerably better than the general population.
Which outcome obtains, then, depends on who is running the show. If there's a situation that would propel the most cunning among us to power, it's invasion by hostile aliens via sheer survival pressure.
