Once Ukraine cut the land bridge you can see why they have just had 1000+ troops trained for amphibious operations i.e. that they will destroy the kerch bridge as well as attacking from the south, behind the defense lines.

I’d love to see that bridge downed

They aren’t capable of meaningful results so in their desperation they resort to acts which simply entrench/harden the Russian response and not much else

Considering you have absolutely no regard for the Ukraine's interests or right to exist, I'll skip the part where I ask you what exactly they could reasonably accept after having their cities bombed to bits and citizens murdered en masse in a war they didn't start.

So what do you think would be an agreement that Putin would accept, and would you expect that he would just stick to the terms of any agreement made, like he's so famous for doing so in the past?

It's a question of whether you can force a nuclear power into retreat, or if that is even desirable.

They really haven't... HIMARS was once a red line.. Tanks was the next red line Patriot air defence was a red line.. NATO are moving slowly towards full backing, Aircraft will be next and once Ukraine can give ground forces full backing its game over, and a negotiated peace will happen with Rusdia getting Crimia and other parts of Ukraine they've occupied since 2015, the rest of Ukraine will Join NATO.

Why would it end with an apparently all powerful nato handing over Crimea and the other bits? They’d surely have no need to in your scenario.

Good grief... of course China need the west, their economy is starting to really struggle, pretty much the only reason they haven't supplied Russia with weapons is because they are terrified of western sanctions that would instantly crash their economy Russia with their natural resources were in a better place to handle sanctions than China could ever be. China need the west far more than they need Russia. They are currently just using Russia for cheap oil and gas Putin is being played like a fiddle.

You may be right that Russia could be better placed to survive than China with the amount of natural resources it has and this makes China more cautious.

The Ukrainians are getting fine words and a pocket full of promises instead of F-16s and long range missiles.

A Russian-installed court in Ukraine’s eastern Donetsk region jailed two Ukrainian soldiers for 29 years each, Russia’s investigative committee said on Wednesday, after it accused them of killing three civilians.

Moscow has repeatedly sentenced captured Ukrainian soldiers to long jail terms, in court proceedings that Kyiv does not recognise on Russian-occupied territory.

Russia’s investigative committee said the two soldiers belonged to Ukraine’s Azov regiment – a branch of the Ukrainian army considered “extremist” in Russia.

It said that the two “shot at a car with two unarmed civilians using automatic firearms, as a result of which the men in the car died on the spot from their injuries.”

Whatever your p.o.v. on this war / invasion issue I think we can all agree that the Azov nazi scum get what they deserve...unless you work for the BBC, in which case you refer to them as "the heroes of Mariupol".
