Who are the Telegraph's sources - for those of us firewalled?

More than 60 Russian soldiers may have been killed or wounded by friendly fire as they made a hasty retreat from the village of Opytne, in the Donetsk region, Russian sources have said.

The chaotic withdrawal was mistaken for a rapid Ukrainian advance across an open field by a Russian drone operator who ordered an artillery strike.

Pro-Kremlin military bloggers initially said that the 200 Russian troops were retreating to “more favourable positions”, as Ukrainian forces gradually overcame their defences around the village, which is less than two miles north of Donetsk airport.

But one source with knowledge of the incident said: “Unfortunately, not everyone retreated clearly and harmoniously. Some of the fighters retreated to new positions chaotically and almost in panic.

“As a result, a tragedy occurred, our soldiers died … [by] the fire of their own artillery.”

NATO could easly blow russia to bits that arnt going to, the plan is to significantly weaken Russia so they aren't a threat to their neighbours going forward, this is working as Russia are going cap in hand to despicable regimes..
Russia will basically keep what they already occupied before the war and Ukraine will join NATO, a dictator can do lots of things, starve the population, see people get into poverty, kill hundreds of thousands of their own people, brainwash the entire population.. but there is 1 thing they can't do and that's lose a war, so to get to the negotiation table both sides will have to be prepared to give concessions.. Russia keep lands and Ukraine gets NATO protection.
Russia can be losing and still end up with lands as it's the only way putin gets out alive. As he can tell the brainwashed that it's a victory.

It's widely known what they are, but it's still a BS reason to start a war... Russia it's self has far more neo nazi groups than Ukraine ever had, if they want to rid the world of Nazis then they should have started at home..

I think its a bit rich for British people to call anybody out as being Nazi when our country is literally been governed by actual Nazis in the form of the Tory Party.
