To resume the functioning of the Kerch ferry crossing, Rosmorrechflot organized the operation of sea ferries.
- Two car ferries with a total capacity of up to 50 road trains, including the ferry "Kerchinsky 2" (the launch of which is organized by the Government of the Republic of Crimea), will begin operation no later than the morning of 10/09/2022.
– Three rail ferries, one of which has a capacity of 30 wagons, will arrive from 10/12/2022. Two ferries with a capacity of 45 and 50 wagons will arrive on the line on 10/15/2022.
- From the evening of 10/08/2022, if necessary, three passenger ships with a capacity of 100, 200, and 250 people will start working.
The ferry crossing in the Kerch Strait will operate free of charge.

Surovakin i believe took over southern command in July/August. Now hes been appointed in complete charge and still in charge of the airforce it's a very noticeable change in direction

"According to the Minister of Emergency Situations, vehicles with a carrying capacity of 3.5 tons are currently passing through the bridge. As renovations progress, this number will increase.
Cars are now passed in portions - now 60 pieces at a time. Tomorrow and the day after tomorrow they will let 100 passes.
Tourists are also asked not to use the Crimean Bridge unnecessarily so as not to create unnecessary congestion and traffic jams during repair work and restructuring of the bridge for the duration of the repair".
