Has Putin ever broken an agreement he's signed?

Minsk two was broken by Ukraine.
The various nuclear treaties where torn up by the USA.
Nord2 was cancelled by Germany.
He honoured all trade agreements including energy even after the countries the agreements where with started sanctions and military aid to Ukraine.

Not being funny here,but has he?

So, logically:

- That is our dirt.
- In 1991, we were so weak that we couldn't hold it. So, we magnaminously 'gave' it to them.
- We are no longer weak, so we are taking it back.

As we discussed a long time ago, one wonders what Putin would have to say about the Chinese showing up and taking Vladivostok back. The hypocrisy of the US with respect to, say, Oklahoma is also glaring.

You think the west will cause Nuclear War over Putin nuking a non NATO state?

They will respond If tactical nukes are used as nobody knows to what extent. Neville Chamberlain was a pacifier and then look what happened.

That's the main problem, borders and countries have all the way through history changed, so a certain point can always be pulled out to justify an action.

True. I dread to think how this conflict would have panned out if that self serving oaf had won a second term.

A massive conventional weapons attack on Russian troops or Russia itself would see the Russians respond by instantly taking out with tactical nukes Ramstein airbase and multiple NATO C&C centres including the one in the UK mate.

Which would in turn see the beginning of Russia being vaporised.

I don’t think it is even just his political survival - lot easier for an “accident” to befall him and his family if they are not in a leadership position.

But it is even wider than that - would any Ukrainian leader get public acceptance to not fight for those territories? Especially given the reports of atrocities committed in them? It is one thing to let Crimea go when it was relatively bloodless and a lot of the population were keen on the idea - quite another for a city that did not want to be Russian.

Add in that Putin is not renowned for keeping his agreements.
