Where have I said it's my money.

I've pointed out to him, I'd be happy to pay inheritance tax on my assets, which was a question he suggested I wouldn't. He's wrong. As usual.

He made his business public the moment he made value judgements on how people treat their assets.

What’s all this crap ‘he’s wrong as usual’, I make my opinions you make yours, I don’t say you are wrong, it’s your opinion, at least afford me the same level of understanding……,

You missed my point. Pete suggested people would all avoid paying inheritance tax. I've pointed out that's not true.

Id rather pay IHT, even at 100% if it meant I paid less tax on my income. I think working people should be taxed less.

Wait until you retire, you will have a totally different opinion……

Um...

No you are wrong. We were all fed caviar with a silver spoon, were given large detached houses and loads of money for doing nothing while gaining exorbitant pensions on the backs of millenials.....

You really couldn’t be more wrong if you tried......

And this is like the stupidity of Labour under Corbyn, never admitting being in the wrong......

You always get things wrong don’t you......

Once again you are wrong. Boris did not reject either.....so congratulations .....

Of course they were. You just won’t admit you were wrong. You would have voted for a horse or a pig with a Labour rosette just to oust the Tories…..

Fair enough pal i must have misread you're post, I just saw 100% and saw my arse.
As the law of it the land states you're house doesn't go to yours kids anyway, only part of the proceeds after the house is sold. Least that's the way I've read it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

No worries mate.

My point wasn't well made. My view is more, that IHT is quite generous, and I wouldn't give my kids unlimited money as I'm not sure it does them good. I think it kills motivation, and alters their thinking. Give them enough to do anything, but not too much to do nothing so to speak.

So yea, after the 600k threshold, I have no issue with the government taking it, in my view.

You are wrong that everybody would do what you did. That is wrong. I wouldn't.

Just as you were wrong about the 2020 US election, wrong about Johnson's popularity, wrong about the 2024 election, wrong about Brexit, wrong about public sector pay going above inflation. Wrong that the Tories, who suffered a record loss by becoming more right wing, just need to go more.in the wrong direction to win.

It's quite a litany of mistakes. Id also add there is copious evidence of you telling people they are wrong. The difference is, with politics I have a reasonable understanding so don't call it wrong very often.
