The Mirror can't sue us for copyright for sharing a Tweet of a screenshot. ( That's why we don't link links to the Mirror because of this: https://www.grandoldteam.com/forum/threads/please-read-copyright-infringement.87368/ )

It'll be true, here's some coverage beyond a Twitter headline;

It feels a bit champagne socialist and very hypocritical...

I think I read that she also claimed for an iPad last year. Mine seem to last for a couple of years at least.......

I've just reversed image/searched the title and see what you mean now - it's not on the tweet though and has no relevance to the point. It was one of many '#AirpodAngela' tweets.

The headline is the story, carried across many outlets.

That said, I've just searched your posts for Rayner - it's clear your a big fan of her. Sorry she's a fraud mate.

Well, for a start they were the ones whose exclusive it was - so it kind of does have relevance to the point; they were the source of the story.

As for "its clear your a big fan of her" - I've just looked at my posts for Rayner (all six of them), and they all seem to relate to her being acceptable as leader after Corbyn (alongside RLB and Starmer), and that she'd have had a better chance of beating Starmer than RLB would have. So its not that clear, is it?

You backed the wrong horse mate.

Champagne socialist.

Fraud.

I'm willing to be educated on this, but I don't see what the problem is with a politician (of any party) claiming a relatively small amount of money for office technology that they'd clearly need in order to be able to do their jobs.

Perhaps indicative that it seems to be mainly the S**, Mail and Express running with this particular story.

Cos one opposition mp dubiously claiming 250quid expenses = syphoning billions of pounds to donors. Therefore "they're all as bad as each other".

TBF none of them should be able to buy these things on expenses, it just invites abuse and we’ve repeatedly seen the system looted by politicians from all parties. If things are necessary for MPs, then Parliament should buy things centrally and issue them out in the way everyone else has to have things at work.

Plus headsets for Teams, Zoom etc do not cost £250 - yes, the ultimate source of this is the definition of dubiousness, and yes they’ve clearly not seen anything wrong with the billions that their mates have stolen, but there’s no much of a defence for this, if this is what she’s done.

What's this about Johnson wanting more than 30k to redecorate #10?

The Oldknow ruling really doesn't bode well for the party in its actions against the former leader.

I will vote Labour whenever the time comes, but Starmer's leadership (or lack of) is heartbreaking to see.

TBF it’s the fact she kept that action up that was the telling thing.

Doing it via a charity apparently, rich donors are going to pay for it.
So taxpayers, indirectly, via Underwater Roundabout inc..

One would have thought he'd be quite content with no more squatting like when he was sacked, or with having his own place that his Mrs can't kick him out of for being aggressive to her.

Still a charity case though, albeit one milking everything dry he lays his hands on, although that could be a family trait.
