In what “way”, Peter?

Please ‘splain that silly comment.

Thank you.

Because it’s denying that something existed when it quite plainly did. If I were Jewish, and I’m not, then I think I would take offence in the same way that some holocaust deniers try to suggest either it didn’t happen or it was not as bad as reported. I’m not sure I can explain it any more simply than that.....

No, it's bang on the money and you'd know that if you had half a clue.
It'd have been better if you had instead, said.

Corbyn has ballsed this up big time. He allowed his own arrogance to trump strategic thinking by not accepting the findings, not keeping quiet for the good of the party and the bigger picture. That's the cut of him.

Not so sure about, ballsed up big time. It was a central message of his leadership campaign, weeding out antisemitism, along side Unity... So its no surprise, he took this line. Also, his background in the law just reaffirms the context of the man. As for Unity, the general consensus in all Labour will be to follow report and then some, thats very much nailed on.

He didn't deny it though. He said it's been blown out of proportion.

He's made an error in suspending Corbyn on the grounds he's suspended him on.

It's not sustainable. It'll likely be overturned, and then Starmer looks weak.

He's got an unearned reputation for having a sharp mind. For my money yesterday he saw the initial muted response to his inconclusive and evasive press conference when he spoke of the ECHR findings and he's jumped in with two feet on a statement from Corbyn to rescue the situation and make himself look strong by suspending Corbyn. But he couldn't even own that in the end.

It was a strategic mistake, and I see he's been in the media today saying he hopes there'll be no civil war and that there needn't be one...which looked a lot like rowing back to me.

Forensic my arse.
