Succession Planning - Managerial Wishlist

If, as has been suggested, our model is to be like Bournemouth in terms of bringing in young players and developing them, but being able to keep them rather than selling them on, surely Iraola would make sense as the guy to try and do that. It's patently obvious that Moyes isn't that guy.
Sadly, but somewhat realistically, I think we'll see him at a well-respected job come next season rather than take a job with us.

I'd have him here without a shadow of a doubt.

If it's in the Premier League, not sure where he'd go. Arsenal aren't looking, City have Maresca lined up if Pep leaves, he wouldn't work with Jim Ratcliffe, Emery isn't leaving Villa. Maybe Newcastle, who are in the same scenario as us.

Which is my main confusion for the club.

The highest age of signing was Dewsbury Hall, 26 (permanent anyway). Aside from that, Moyes has never trusted youth players, so I think there needs be a clear request that he adapts it (which won't happen), or we move to someone who is willing to to introduce that?

He has talked about preseason so I suppose the only hope for us progressing with him as manager is that he plays O'Brien at centre back, Armstrong/Rohl, Garner and KDH in midfield and Dibling either on a flank or at number 10 in preseason and they do so well he has to start the season with them.

Because he can continue doing a great job at Stuttgart, literally wait for the Bayern, dortmund or lepizig job. Chances are he’ll end up in England but at one of the sky6 clubs. Outside of the sky 6 jobs, if your highly regarded manager whose accomplished, your only waiting for the sky 6 jobs.

I know it’s hard for people to process but in Europe the premier league isn’t as big as it’s made out apart from clubs who regularly play in Europe. Clubs like us, won’t be regarded as big clubs. We are looked at as just making up the numbers. It’s just like majority of football fans in this country won’t realise how good of teams are like Stuttgart, Hoffenheim, Villarreal, real Betis, como, Roma and etc.
And yet Villa and Palace are in European finals as were Fulham recently

We literally attracted Carlo Ancelotti when we were a penniless basket case but people act like we can’t attract a better manager than David Moyes.

Everton should aim to have the best manager possible. It’s no surprise that Palace and Villa have started to look like winning stuff when they went out and got managers who have actually won stuff.
Ancelotti was interviewed and hired on Usmanovs yacht
Everton FC were not paying his full wages , Usmanov was paying the vast majority of it
