Succession Planning - Managerial Wishlist

More progressive for me personally. I’d love us to go get Sebastian Hoenes and let him build his team. What he’s done at Stuttgart is brilliant and the football they play is great on the eye. He’s got a winning mentality too. Won the Pokal cup last season currently got them 6th in Bundesliga. He done a decent job at Hoffenheim too and got them on the up as a club. Pretty sure he was at Bayern as a coach and in charge of there second team who won the 3rd division.
Again, the type of door we should be knocking on. All he can say is "no" - and if he does we know we must focus our efforts elsewhere.

His familial connections - son of Dieter, nephew of Uli - might come in useful too...

For me he’s the one I’d go all out for. They beat Leverkusen before 3-1 to go up to third in the league.

Keep telling yourself that. We’ll be a pull to a degree but not the pull our fans think we are.

There is a reason the club is in the position it’s in cos fans like you believe we are this massive famous institute in English and world football. We aren’t.
I mean we ARE a famous insititute. One of the reasons why football exists.

Doesn't mean anything in modern football though really. What are we paying and what can we win is all players really care about. Probably in that order too.

Ancelotti was attracted to Everton because of the money he was receiving off us. Plus he was sold a dream of big funds to spend. He quickly realised that Moshiri and Usmanov were full of [Poor language removed].

To be fair, Villa were and are more attractive than Everton. They had the squad in place, great board in place and money to spend. Gerrard actually built a good squad at Villa, he was just a pony manager. There is this misconception of Villa that there squad was terrible when Emery took over. When in reality the squad was there, they just needed a good manager to steer them in the right path.
Blaming Russia for the war in Ukraine and Usmanov getting caught up in it is what ended the flow of money.

To be fair, probably worded it wrong but your right.

We aren’t high up on the list for best players and manager right now.

Iraola’s win percentage worries me although he does have some positives.

I want a proven winner. Mancini would be great in my opinion. Prem winner, has won in other leagues, not great in Europe but a problem for another day. Wouldn’t take any mediocre nonsense from the people around him,

I think if Silva was willing to come back here I'd hand him the reins again.

It was only a load of bedwetters who thought we could go out and buy the title on Moshiri's money who demanded his head and Moshiri bending the knee to them that saw him sacked.

If we cant attract Glasner, Iraola or the like, I'd rather him than the grifter we have in place right now anyway.

Wow, is that the best you can come up with? Embarrassing.

[Poor language removed] manager we chased and got fined for hiring an unemployed manager. You mock Everton for bringing Moyes back here but you'd gladly suckle at the teet of Silva again? Not a chance in hell I would want him back here.
