Moyes: "maybe the supporters don't know and expect more"

Point remains. If he's brendan MKII it's to early to say whether that's a good or bad thing IMO.

I justcan't buy into the idea that we'd implode if Moyes leaves. It would probably be as spectacular as Leeds if it hapopened. But we're nowhere near that level off the pitch.

Not for me - hyped up manager who teams spends every season in the bottom 3 (I reckon he takes them down this year) and you should listen to his press work - the fella is an undergraduate to Brenden in the art of spoken BS.

No he's not, he just has an opinion on what he feels is most likely to happen, given the circumstances & the name in the frame.

An opinion that I agree with, as Moyes has consistently squeezed more out of what he has, than most others would be capable of imo.

I disagree with you mate, I think our team are capable of playing a lot better football on a regular basis. i dont think moyes's prefered style is the best for the players we have.

Players that he assembled like.......I won't be renewing if Martinez is unveiled mate, that's how strongly I feel about it.

Who would be your preferred manager option to play nice football and do you think this person would do better than Moyes in the league in terms of league position?

They picked Moyes who you think is great. Can we actually recognize that they picked the right man instead of considering the wrong one.

The right man who a lot want shut of. Its all about picking the next right man though, that man who can get us into the CL on a shoestring.

Personally i wouldnt be surprised if the next appointment is internal, its Bills style to consult with Moyes when/if he goes - i think Moyes is going to recomend the likes of Irvine.

Logs out to take my meds.

To be honest mate i haven't really put much thought into it, there seems to be a new crop of managers that like to play the passing game. I just don't like moyes's preferred style of football, some of our football for a few games at the start of the season was fantastic but i knew we would slip back to the long ball because thats the style moyes likes. He even admits to it in an interview saying he isnt into passing the ball around in our own half or something like that. I was sat near someone on saturday who was constantly screaming at mucha to go long, each to their own i suppose.

Its impossible to answer your second question.

The more it looks like Moyes is leaving the more I fear for the future. Don't get me wrong I was angry as anyone after the Wigan game but the City game was a real reminder about what he has really done.

I pray he signs a new deal.

Wouldn't come here. It's tragic to say it but we honestly offer him less than swansea in all areas but wages.

Sadly, I wholeheartedly agree with this completely.

But, I think we can still do better than the English speaking Spaniard down the road - aka The Easy Option.

Taken together the Wigan collapse followed by the City performance is the reminder of what we get from Moyes.

I don't want David Moyes to leave.I still would be happy if he stayed...more because of the fear of an uncertain future rather than the belief we will ever win anything with David Moyes.

I do rate very highly the squad that he has put together, and I see this as his greatest strength....putting together a strong squad with limited funds.
I see his use of this squad as one of his weaker points.
I see his loyalty to certain players as a weakness, when he has kept them in the team when we would have been better off with ten men.The classic example was Saha in his last season.
I believe that because of his conservative nature David Moyes will always be a manager who came close to winning something without actually doing so.

I think the players are guilty of the long ball stuff sometimes due to lack of skill and vision from the back but some of it is due to teams who double up on our players in the middle and the wings. I,m kinda ok with the long ball stuff within moderation to mix it up and chelsea did well out of it for years.
