Instead of Moutinho we got Fellaini hardly a come down.
Moutinho is 64million times the player.

No he isnt. Why has he spent the majority of his career in such a lowly league with Spurs the only club to bid for him?Moutinho is 64million times the player.

Ive seen him play and I'd rather have Fellaini.

We are not a big successful club though and havn't been for 30 years, wake up and face reality.. We are heading constantly in the right direction now though, but only beause Moyes has been building.. strangely it takes longer with no money than it has for the likes of Mourinho, Hughes, Mancini etc but he's been building non the less... and we currently have a very exciting team...
Would of been better but he keeps having to rebuuld when we sell players he wants to keep..
As for the list of clubs.. We were fighting it out with Coventry, Southampton, Charlton and the other non descripts when he came.. that is the scale of the task he faced. We were that poor but whereas their managers were not good enough to do anything about it but slip away in the lower league obscurity.. ours progressed us to the upper tier of the best league in the world with the sort of money reserved for simply trying to survive in the league.
We were massively ****e.. now we are not, and its cost us about 10mil.. That's an acheivement in the English money league.
But its true.. he hasn't won a cup so its all irrelevent.
He's a straight line manager who puts his club approx where their finances sit and no more.
Auf weidersehen Moyes.
I honestly don't know where people expect us to be, nor do I know of anyone realistically that could/would come in and do what Moyes does, under our current board.
You agree with Benitez then?
I've said on another post we dumped expectation when Moyes arrived, stuff this club never entertained previously has set in with a generation just to exist in the division.
Agreeing with Benitez is just symptomatic, (btw we won stuff before the 80s just in case you didn't know).
Saying we've got an exciting side now begs the question what the fck has he been doing all these years? He's had no more money than before arguably less than before cash has come from transfer deals - why hasn't he done more of this before?

I'd be interested to know if Moyes and this board carry on how long without a cup you think is acceptable?
Taking it to 12yrs, 15yrs, 20yrs? I just wonder how far expectation has dropped.
No win situation for Moyes in some peoples eyes. He gets us playing well, he should have already done that. If he tries to grind out wins, its boring to watch and people complain. Basically all this thread has served to do is further entrench peoples opinions about Moyes.Pretty much all of that is simply incorrect, bar the bolded part.
