have come out of retirement to post.

Have to say I thoroughly disagree with your post.

Firstly the crowd do not want to be entertained they want to win games.

Were we not patient from mid way last season and just managed to rescue ourselves and grab 7th?????????? Only in Europe by sheer good luck from other results.

I do not think it is poor form as such but really the teams selected and the tactics used, against Burnley one could see how a defence should be organised and the midfield closing down on our players rapidily, do you think Koeman got the message regarding our defence?

Per Moshiri it seems to be okay to lose to championship contenders, Burnley? Oh he means Man U, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool, so that writes of 12 games this season - 36 points!

As for the Europa unable to put to bed teams that are basically our Championship level.

Work in progress, that is a good one. Koeman has had a year and all indications were when we signed he would be gone at the end of his 3 year contract so when exactly do you see his "project" bearing fruit?

For me his project should have bringing our young players in and moulding them into a team just like perhaps before your time when Busby did that for Man U and set them on the path to their current greatness.

Please can anyone see any signs of this being turned round?

Last season was all about improvement from Martinez. You look at the teams who finished above us - RS, City, Utd, Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal. Could you compare their squad to ours? 7th was just what we deserved tbh.

Alright, the crowd wants to win games. I want nothing else. I'm also not absolving Koeman from his share of criticism. What I have a problem with is thinking its all his fault.

You mentioned why our midfielders don't close down attacks. I ask the same question but I don't believe it has anything to do with Koeman's tactics. Both Gana and Schneiderlin were miles better than now. Surely one has to question them too. Williams has been shocking. And as he gets more shocking we get injuries to our other 2 CBs as well. The blame attached to Koeman in my view is signing so many no 10s. You give 9 new signings to the best of teams even they will struggle.

We lost Coleman, never replaced him. That can be blamed on Koeman. Martina is not the answer and we have conceded alot from RB area so far.

We lost Lukaku, never replaced him. Here I believe our board and Walsh are to blame. Cos my understanding is Koeman wanted more strikers in. We lost Kone, Lukaku and Niasse was banished. One Sandro was not gonna be enough.

Same for the defender area.

Any manager that completely ignores width in this league is going to struggle. There was a reason Koeman struggled to win after Coleman went down. The reason he succeeded at Southampton was because he had width. It all makes no sense to me.

I can answer both your questions there... 1)Moyes probably never spent 140 million over the course of his 13 years let alone in one summer. 2)How are we are work in progress.....if we had Davies, Holgate and Kenny playing and had similar results then I would look at the positive of youngsters gaining experience etc, them been kept out of the side by out or form experienced players in Williams, Schneiderlin and Martina is not a work in progress, its delusional stubborn management.

If he keeps Schnides and Gana out, the same fans will say "This side is too inexperienced and we need our senior players". Its a catch 22. Why can't the senior and proven duo of Gana and Schnide have to be so much of cowards. And its not stubborness. Otherwise he wouldn't have taken Schnides off after HT. Nor would he have dropped Rooney.

About Moyes, at his time his team was way better than his tactics suggested. Playing Neville, Osman, Hibberts constantly and bringing defenders on to defend last 30 mins only to still concede.

We ride out the storm with Moyes. Lets do the same for Koeman atleast till the end of the season.

The players confidence is shot to frig, I don't see Koeman turning it round anytime soon, he's swapping round square pegs in round holes match by match.

Moshiri will have to grow a pair at the end of this month if it continues, because if it does, we have a bottom half finish at best to look forward to.
