Farhad Moshiri: Ronald Koeman Statement

Mate Wenger has lost half of Arsenal fanbase over last 3 years cos of same stuff season in, season out and has got them out of CL too this season. Where are all those fans calling for "Wenger Out" banner now? We as fans are very hysterical. Right now they are still content with him and the team inspite knowing they will lose Sanchez. Why? Cos they are in a good form currently.

I am disappointed in us as fans who even before this bad run of form saw Goodison atmosphere on a decline cos we wanted to be entertained on regular basis as if its our divine right. We only want to support the team when its playing decent football. But where has our patience and support gone in bad times? Even in Moyes' last few season, we started every season poorly (except his last), lost derbies regularly, lost all big matches away, used to win an odd game at Goodison vs the big guns and finished in 9th to 7th on avg after goimg through difficult periods. That too with a good enough team at that time. We criticised Moyes for his tactics and negative football but we stuck through the times. So why after 2 months of bad form should we call for Koeman's neck? Who next then will be the solution? Its not like we've been qualifying for CLs and winning titles that we should sack him now. We're a work in progress. Why can't fans see that?
Because Koeman has no respect for logic. The fans have no respect for those with no respect for logic.

I only want the best for Everton and I don't think Moshiri qualifies for this unfortunately.

Retaining Bill Kenwright hasn't helped his cause. He is quite obviously taking direction from him, the amateur way in which this club conducts is business is absolutely mind boggling.

I understand some of his team selections have not been logical. Getting three no 10s was also not logical. But what about Walsh and Kenwright who did not the striker nor the defender? Lets start a movement to oust them as well then?

There are somethings which are not in public what went behind the scenes during the transfer window in July and August. Lets not forget that. Lets also consider the reprucussions we will face if we sack him now. Even Man Utd gave Van Gaal 2 years before sacking him.

7 injuries ? Only Bolasie and Coleman I would expect to be starting, we knew they were out ages before the season started so why not get a solid replacement in? The money was there, not having this as a reason for being so bad

Jags - not really a big deal as he's useless now.

Barkley - has no future at the club so it's pointless including him.

McCarthy - injured again you say. Who'd have thought it.

Funes Mori - 19th July they said he was injured... plenty of time to get in a left sided defender.

Coleman - he broke his leg and we get cover for him with Cocu ****ing Martina!

Bolasie - December last year, we knew the time scale. We know he might not be back to what he used to be.

I'm just going to guess the other one is Besic or Mirallas. But obviously we haven't been told that.

4 of those players are long term injuries which were knew before the end of the transfer window and Barkley has no future so make that 5.

That's 5 players that needed cover either from U23 or transfers. Can't really use it as an excuse when there are people employed to make sure we have the players available to play, especially when they are players out long term from well before the season even started!

The media are exploiting some of you to act like geordies so they can harness your cringey anger and get more page clicks.

have come out of retirement to post.

Have to say I thoroughly disagree with your post.

Firstly the crowd do not want to be entertained they want to win games.

Were we not patient from mid way last season and just managed to rescue ourselves and grab 7th?????????? Only in Europe by sheer good luck from other results.

I do not think it is poor form as such but really the teams selected and the tactics used, against Burnley one could see how a defence should be organised and the midfield closing down on our players rapidily, do you think Koeman got the message regarding our defence?

Per Moshiri it seems to be okay to lose to championship contenders, Burnley? Oh he means Man U, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool, so that writes of 12 games this season - 36 points!

As for the Europa unable to put to bed teams that are basically our Championship level.

Work in progress, that is a good one. Koeman has had a year and all indications were when we signed he would be gone at the end of his 3 year contract so when exactly do you see his "project" bearing fruit?

For me his project should have bringing our young players in and moulding them into a team just like perhaps before your time when Busby did that for Man U and set them on the path to their current greatness.

Please can anyone see any signs of this being turned round?

I can answer both your questions there... 1)Moyes probably never spent 140 million over the course of his 13 years let alone in one summer. 2)How are we are work in progress.....if we had Davies, Holgate and Kenny playing and had similar results then I would look at the positive of youngsters gaining experience etc, them been kept out of the side by out or form experienced players in Williams, Schneiderlin and Martina is not a work in progress, its delusional stubborn management.
