Yes they will. But the coaches who will come to Everton aren’t necessarily good enough to actually make a difference. People have fantasies that appointing one guy will magically fix all ills.

It’s nonsense.

Having a man is situ, making lots of plans leading up to the summer and then throwing it all down the toilet due to a bad run of form would be very bad executive management.
If you're talking about plans that moyes is making I know what they are, buy old players, play the same players week in week out make the same changes week in week out, then when it goes tit's ups lean over to the other fossil Irvine and ask him what to do, and all he says is what where I am.

Not really. It shows we are basically putting a thoughtful cogent plan in place and are seeking to improve.

Man City spent several seasons with Pep’s former recruitment people in place and built a team to his liking despite Pelligrini being in charge. The point is, they had a strategy in place and it took time for it to reach the point for Guardiola to step in and take over.

Strategy takes time to implement. Making managerial choices based on short runs of form is foolish.
The idea that Iraola could take over this squad next month and have them playing fast intensity attacking football is bizzare, and yet so many posters see it as a reality.

Prepared to see if major mistakes are rectified around wasting another near £100m in the transfer market. The totally inept two strikers have cost us without doubt a Euro place. He will be VERY CAREFUL around his next purchases because if the new recruits don't hit the ground running in the first few games next season, I think he knows he's on the way out. Personally! many on here say we need fullback positions desperately. I say, Striker position is more important. If you don't score goals you don't win games. I don't care if we let in 3 goals a game as long as we score 4. This attacking line we have now is totally soaked up by other teams and that's why we take defensive pressure on us in most games. THATS what has lost us points against teams we should be beating.

This is hard because i like him and want stability after years of chaos … but the last few months have been so poor, with so many predictably poor decisions, that I’m concerned we could start next season poorly, and can see promising young players like Armstrong leaving and all of us regretting not giving them more of a chance. The back four without Branthwaite is excruciating and keeping O’Brien at right back could surely qualify as cruelty to an employee. Upcoming new contracts for Keane and Mykolenko isn’t helping and the owners are giving the impression they’re not too fussed as long as we stay up and they make loads of money out of us. So …. Not a clue.

Remember in the movie Braveheart when the Scottish Lords took the bribe from the English King and turned there back on Wallace and the freefolk and rode away on the battlefield.

That's what @PercyPlant and @Kevsleftpeg done to Moyes yesterday.

Abandoned him in his hour of need.

They've all deserted him, not because they believe he should go but because they dont have the fortitude to back him in the face of almost complete opposition to him now.

People still backing Moist often mention the importance of stability. Stability for me, is being better run as a club, which compared to the mess of the last decade and more, we appear to be. It's the managers job to provide an entertaining, committed football team, and he hasn't, and needs to move aside for someone who can. The team in the last couple of months has looked as unstable as ever. Koff Moist.

I was content at the start of the season to have a solid season away from the relegation nonsense after the last few years so he succeeded in that aspect but the last few months, after seeing what we could potentially have gotten with just a bit of ambition its hard not feel a bit of resentment towards Moyes for it. His use of the squad the whole season has been incredibly poor, from the constant changing of starting striker early on to the complete lack of playing time for the likes of Dibling, Aznou, Patterson, George and Armstrong in favor of persisting with the likes of McNeil, Mykoleno and playing O'Brien out of position for Keane. It'd be one thing if doing this got us good results and decent football but last few months its achieved neither. The last stretch of games in particular also where the lineup and subs were the same every single game.

The McNeil situation in particular is one that baffles me. He was going to be sold, had been incredibly poor up until that point and then when it doesn't happen Moyes has him start pretty much every game afterwards. Even if he didnt play as badly as he had earlier in the season he was still largely a non factor in a lot of games and honestly I remember more incidents where he was culpable for goals conceded that goals created. Why did Moyes decide McNeil was worth that much gametimes compared to George who looked more threatening everytime he came on, or Dibling, who even if he didnt play well could hardly have been worse than McNeil even defensively.

There’s no way an ambitious young manager turns down AC Milan to manage Everton. This has been the whole point about “showing ambition” the whole time - the other party actually has to be interested.
There are so many coaches out there better than Moyes, it really is not the point, that one might turn us down for Ac milan. If he does, fine, at least we asked. Now, go find another one.

Like i said, it's not hard to find a better one than david moyes. Who was (at best) an ok coach in 2002. It's now 2026. He's been lapped many times by many coaches all over europe. I'm baffled that the poll is only 90% in favour of him getting sacked.

He's a dinosaur. He has one way of playing and that's it. He can't set his teams out another way, because he doesn’t know how to. He has not improved his skill set in 20 years. Too much ego, for that.

His record against the top 6 and in big games, in general, is a complete embarrassment and a stain on his career.

Ok I'll bite. Team we could have by the start of next season:
Pickford
New fast overlapping right back
O'Brien
Branthwaite
New fast overlapping left back
Armstrong
Rohl
KDH
N'diaye
New fast centre forward
New fast right sided forward

Subs:
Travers
Mykolenko
Tarkowski
Gueye
Dibling
Alcaraz
Beto

Sell Keane, Patterson, Barry, McNeill

That's 4 new signings needed to play how he would want to, hardly major surgery.

I really can’t see any of us being a Moyes out under any circumstances, we all know this club has the capacity to make a bad situation worse. There would appear to be a number of good managers out there looking for a good club to take forward. I fear that if we sit on our hands and don’t be proactive we will find ourselves struggling to replace Moyes at the end of next season. He will have brought in his type of player: older steady work horses with no sell on value and no reason to leave the club because they will be on the best terms they can get.
If we are going to move on we need someone who can get us to the next level, we need a manager who looks to win every game, who gives us a chance. Moyes was the right choice for the job of stopping the slide with his risk adverse tactics and selection, now is a different time, we need to buy players who want to win, we need a management that gives them a chance to win.
There definitely are people who are Moyes out under any circumstances. They have been banging that drum all season.

Our scouts are only capable of looking at cast offs from Manchester or Chelsea.

Therein lies the problem.
