Well, I consider it the end of our season right now regardless of which teams surpass us on the final day. 49 points is very very poor in my opinion, it wasn’t good enough under the former manager, and it’s not good enough under this one. Right now we look a worse team than we did 12 months ago under the same manager. The capitulation in the last month of this season has been frankly shameful and I don’t agree with our esteemed CEO’s rewriting of history that the objective was always to simply not be staring down the barrel of the relegation gun. What do you rate the season overall?

I went for 2. The only reason it's not a 1 is because we went into the last couple of months safe from any relegation threat.

Other than that it seems zero to little progress, confusing but predictable lines ups and in game management, still many players at the club I never want to see again, poor recruitment in the main and same old Everton as bottle jobs.

Not many positives to take out of this season tbh.

I look forward to a few months off with other football to 'enjoy' watching.

5.

Odd really, as had we shown just a hint of ambition, it could've been about an 8.

Ultimately mid table, lack of effective squad development, woeful results in the cup, and multiple failed opportunities missed probably drops it down to a 4/5.

Can’t recall exactly but off the top of my head I’ve never felt that we have looked particular great or comfortable when beating teams (Forest both games maybe) but a lot of our games have been on a knife edge and so we have rode our luck at times.

I was prepared to wait until the end of the season to assess as results can compensate for the above bit now that we are not getting those results and we are slipping down the league, it’s been a poor season. I generously marked 5 but probably should have gone with the consensus of 4.

Top 10 and cup runs is what Anus said was the objective this season. So comfortably bottom half and straight out of the cups is by his own definition a complete failure on every count. Come to think of it, I think my 4 might be generous.
