You couldn’t make this up really. Our Police have lost whatever common sense they had a long time ago.....

Of course. They have to follow procedure......he was already charged with assault, now of course it’s murder.......the original crime of breaking and entering with a weapon is ignored.......

Indeed, but he’s 78 and still in a police cell. How long does it take to determine if men broke into a house. There is an inevitability about the police these days, young scrotes on scooters roam about London, block roads and even try to remove BBC cameras off a Thames bridge, not a single one of the near 32,000 police anywhere around. 78 year old stabs burglar and the place is overrun with Police. It’s exactly the same with that Army Major who is now being investigated for the 8th time over a death in Iraq. I know this sounds like an old guys knee jerk rant, but we do seem brilliant at throwing resources at the easy targets and doing sod all against the more difficult cases.....

I have no doubt that if taken to court a jury will come back with the correct result, whatever that happens to be, I just don’t like the way that a homeowner who’s property has been invaded is immediately arrested and kept in a cell. The police used to investigate burglaries and support homeowners, now they investigate homeowners and support Burglars. It’s exactly the same when ‘travellers’ invade someone’s land, the police will do nothing, but if the landowner tries to throw them out the police will be all over them. It’s perverse......

Unfortunately I do happen to think that the Police would want to arrest him. That’s my whole point.....

They are too frightened of them, whereas you and I are easy targets......

Funny thing is, if an ethnic person is arrested then everyone bends over backwards not to upset ‘the community’, yet no one seems to notice or even care that the ‘law abiding community’ are a bit upset about this case, but then again we won’t be on the streets lighting fires or whatever......just shut up and keep paying your taxes and parking fines.......

Read the news and the only that I want to say is that give this man a medal for what he did. He defended himself and his dementia stricken wife, that too at the age of 78. Well done and kudos to him.
