It`s their right to live outside the law, fail to educate their kids, not pay taxes, target the vulnerable and elderly , as " that`s the Traveller culture ".

Those who stay on authorised sites pay taxes, majority educate their children, and are not criminals. The majority of traveller children also say they have experienced discrimination and abuse in a daily basis

A throwaway line, it was humour, to emphasise a point. I don’t believe that gypsies get support from the Police, but they certainly don’t get the same scrutiny nor interference that others get, the police are frightened to get involved.......
