That’s to be applauded but It’s difficult to reconcile a centrist position with wholehearted support for a figure as divisive as Thatcher .

Looking at your posts it’s not easy to take an overall view of them as centrist , that’s not a criticism by the way they’re your beliefs and I’m sure well held.

If you check my posts you will see only two politicians that I’ve really applauded, Maggie Thatcher and Harold Wilson, both of whom in my opinion were head and shoulders above the rest of these political pygmies. I had no truck with Heath or Major, Blair or Brown.....

He will have to move...if as reported they are travellers then they will return to the house at some point......

I think it’s a possibility but Tony Martin shot a 16 year old who I think was a traveller in significantly more controversial circumstances and despite a lot of media talk he seemed to come through that without incident .

That doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be concerned with my welfare if I was mr Osborn-brooks .

There is no way I would stay.....

To be fair mate a couple of minutes ago youve identified your major criticism of Neville Southall being that he talks ‘rubbish’ and to be specific it’s that he’s a Tory basher. Not a criticism ,as you’re obviously entitled to your political beliefs but it hardly puts you in the centrist camp .

I don't even know what politics means mate to be fair ! lol

As I’ve said I think it’s reasonable he’d be concerned but obviously he may well have lived there a long time and has a disabled elderly wife. It’d be something you’d have to consider but other factors would also have to be weighed in your decision. I certainly think though that the installation of a panic alarm wouldn’t do much to reassure me if I was worried and I suspect in reality that’ll be the best he can hope for .

There are actual tributes to the dead burglar outside the OAP's home:

Tributes to intruder killed at house in London are torn down

There's a weird sickness in society which seeks to paint criminals as victims:

Young perpetrators of knife crime are victims too

I'm all for peace & love and looking after everybody in a fair way, but once you decide to commit a horrible crime against another person you lose those privileges. Whoever placed those tributes in front of the burgled home has a sick idea of morality.

Yeah , its already been mentioned above and it seems it’s been taken down by the locals which is understandable.

I think firstly the whole tributes thing isn’t for me and secondly for a burglar killed during a burglary it seems Just ridiculous. I do understand though how some families want to grieve for somebody even if the rest of the world couldn’t care for the person whose died. I think the fact that locals have taken down the tribute is both understandable and expected and I’d like to think the council could resolve it as soon as possible .

Of course grieving and private tributes for the passed-on are perfectly understandable, criminal or not, but to do it in front of the (original) victim's home is a bit twisted.

It’s reported that they’ve put them back up again. I bet the guy that owns the fence is feeling a bit nervous.....
