Think they won because they had a clear message.
Tough on immigration.
Put American first.
Less American money and men on the ground to defend other countries.
Pretty simple really,
I know a lot on here are slaging Americans of for voting for it but but s charismatic leader in over here same message but UK instead of USA they would probably win here agaist a government seen as week.
Bits I watched it was all anti Trump rather than a clear message.
 
All the non yank idiots cheering him on are going to be in for a rough time if he enacts the plan he shared in his Time interview to introduce a global 10% tariff.

So many daft Canadians here not knowing they're about to have to deal with this.

What's happening in Detroit is very sad because electric cars with this EV mandate, which is ridiculous, because they don't go far. They cost too much and they're going to be made in China. They're all going to be made in China.

I think it's more likely to make them more desperate and seek answers from less mainstream/traditional politics.

It might explain why people are willing to vote for Trump rather than a well educated career politician..
