Did she have a schoolgirl giggle though. She may have had a distinct laugh but is that really a real reason why people did not vote for her, if so then it is still based in a misogynist thought process.

Person has unique laugh, deserves to be slandered for it. Person says they would kill people who don't agree with them but has no girly laugh. Was that the difference?

P.S. I am no way saying that you think it was a factor but if her laugh affected peoples votes then says more about them than Harris.

Nixon lost to Kennedy because he sweated during a debate mate, Clinton lost to Trump because she came across as arrogant, soon as I heard RFK jr speak I knew he had zero chance of ever becoming president - his wacky ideas just ensured that.

They were supporting a candidate proven to be a useless loser already. Now they've ostracised themselves from half of their fans by backing a lame horse. Harris hasn't even had the grace to give a concession speech yet - terrible! I thought she was supposed to be so much better than Trump.

I am sure she will give one though or at least concede, which is still more than Trump 4 years ago.

Hulk Hogan etc. are allowed their opinion are others not allowed to voice their opinion if it differs from your own opinion. I don't agree with them but they are still allowed it.

Republicans have won the war over truth and information. The alternate reality they’ve curated since the early 1990s - that has won out. They have successfully created a situation where for many people, they will never vote for a Democrat for any number of fantastic reasons

The Democrats spun a lot of stuff in that election and the use of the nazi/fascism stuff was off the charts OTT....and that's not even going near foreign policy decisions on Gaza they took under Biden that will go down in history as one of the crimes of the century against humanity.

It's a fantasy to see those two parties as progressive v regressive.

To compare these 2 candidates and use a laugh as a reason not to vote for her (not saying it definitely did but it seems to be a big topic that has suddenly arisen) considering what was being said on the other side will say a lot about a person.

Perception will always be a factor but for me the seriousness and the contrast between the 2 candidates should have negated any pettiness about a laugh.
