Forgive me, I was very, very drunk.

    2019/20 Carlo Ancelotti

Look at it this way. He needs to maintain the value of these players even if he doesn't rate them. Unless there's someone in the reserves who can significantly outperform them he's better playing them so that come the summer there's a chance of getting rid. He knows football better than...

Phoning 111 is probably the best bet. Don't go into a surgery! I had flu the second week of January. Haven't been ill like that for years. It hit me like a ****ing train, fever, bed, aches and pains and it lingered, I got better thought it was all over then wham! got worse again it came back...

I agree it's alarming. I have loved ones in exactly this position and it's very difficult to know just how many changes they should make to their lives. I think there's something we have to realise about our globalised world. It's next to impossible to close the borders to a virus...

The sociopath responses above about about old people and spreading the virus as revenge for the way they voted are despicable. Shame on you. Just on the subject of South Korea and China 'winning' the battle. Do we all understand that whatever the daily numbers this is not going away? China can...

Fair enough. Only reason I asked was the Chinese recorded viral shedding after 37 days, so if you had it there's maybe a slight chance you were still contagious and as such you may want the test. If you've asked and been denied you've done what you can. Glad to hear you're better now.

I've posted a few pages back some of the risk factors in China that contributed to the virus and I condemn any politicised crowing from China on the responses of other governments. By all means hold the CCP to account for their failings. Still, this really is a time for seeking unity and...

    2019/20 Marcel Brands

A lot of the criticism of Brands seems harsh to me, he inherited a mess and the nature of contract and the price paid for players meant it was never going to be a quick fix. The big question for me is how he much and Carlo's views coincide? If they're at logger heads, then with respect, MB...

There are good reasons for renaming the virus to something non geographic specific. If for no other reason than to reduce incidents like the assault on the Singaporean student recently: https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/teenagers-arrested-singaporean-assault-london-covid19-12510662...

I really don't want to wind up the spokesman for the UK government :(, but on this at least I think they're probably doing the right thing so I'll try and put the other side. They feed the data from Italy and elsewhere into the models, or at least that's what I'd expect. They know a lot more...

Current Affairs Coronavirus Thread - Serious stuff !!!

You've not understood my post. The argument isn't that social distancing is counter productive, it's that social distancing measures introduced too soon are less effective and therefore counter productive. As above, we intuitively feel that we should act as soon as possible. The experts tell...
