Even in China, 99.999% of people were completely unaffected. Things could change and this could go on an exponential death charge, but we seem to be a long way off yet.
That's the worrying part, huge jumps means the prior numbers were unreliable. Which suggests we're still undercounting, at least until the growth rate stabilizes.
UK Health Minister Nadine Dorries has told the BBC that a member of her parliamentary staff has also been infected with the virus.
Ms Dorries was confirmed as having Covid-19 yesterday.
She didn't name the staff member, but according to the parliamentary register of MPs' staff she employs three people - one of whom is her daughter.
This morning Ms Dorries posted in a WhatsApp group of Tory MPs that if any of them had sat next to her last week in the "tea room or library etc", to please let her know, because it was "hard to remember" everyone she had come into contact with.
This afternoon she told the BBC: "Contact tracers have full list of everyone I have been in contact with."
If they aint following their own advice how do they expect the Public to do so!!
"She apparently started experiencing symptoms on Thursday, but afterwards attended an event at Downing Street hosted by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and held a constituency surgery attended by dozens of members of the public.
Labour MP Rachael Maskell met Ms Dorries last week, and has now been told to self-isolate after feeling unwell."

Oh please make this happen!
Almost entirely due to drastic measures to contain the spread by shutting down an entire city and surrounding area, something like 20 (?) million quarantined? Not to mention there is still no shared immunity for most of China, so it will almost certainly spread again.
Of course, but Italy (which has a population density and geographical spread much closer to ours) is 0.2% infected and continuing to rise quickly.
I accept that the infected aren't around every corner, but in the UK the cases are on the increase. Unless these start to trend downwards soon, as they did in China, the numbers can get worse very quickly.
Once we are out of the woods it's a good opportunity to take stock and assess how small-scale it might eventually have been, but while the cases are on the rise here it seems foolish to praise the high numbers of uninfected people.
Nice logic! I don't criticise the CCP publically, therefore it automatically follows I am a supporter. Or maybe because I live in China with my wife and child, and consider it prudent not to do so on a public internet forum?
Or -and I have to reiterate it a thousand times- because I have only ever praised the Chinese government's methods of containing the outbreak, once it got out of hand.
If you want to go ahead, and suppose/declare this means I am a closet communist, or something then knock yourself out.
I requested through work and my doctor and was told there was no need.
Fair enough. Only reason I asked was the Chinese recorded viral shedding after 37 days, so if you had it there's maybe a slight chance you were still contagious and as such you may want the test.
