I'm sick of the West's brand of capitalism and its army. We need to put an end to it.

I'm in Kyiv. Lived here since August 2017. The flag on the motherland monument is at half mast today.
Many Ukrainians have said for a while that they do not believe there will be an invasion and that the western media were exaggerating. Many still feel that Putin will only go in to the East. Most westerners have left- some to western Ukraine, some back home. I have a Ukrainian partner (not married, which complicates matters, but the crisis emails from gov.uk are indicating that they are relaxing visa requirements for partners, so I will phone today. We have contingency plans if the full scale invasion happens. It's pretty scary and we are all watching the news avidly.

I heard there are a lot of British men who settled down in Ukraine after finding a Ukrainian wife, well that's what I learnt from watching Bald and Bankrupt videos.

It's perhaps worth remembering how much business the likes of BP and Shell do in Russia. Indeed, I think BP's stake in Rosneft has contributed about 65% of their profits over the past decade. Will the Tories really do anything that risks BP being booted out of Russia?

You get the point though. Russia is also the 2nd biggest producer of platinum in the world, which is a key component in the car industry. I think we like to portray Russia as a one-way street, but sanctions could also hurt the western economies.

The pipeline's already built. They'll ratify it in 2025, when everything's cooled off and Putin & Scholz are having tea in Kiev.

They'll ratify when there's a cold snap next winter. Morals are easy when spring is around the corner and it's on the front page of the news.
