You do realise the bbc, by law has to be unbiased and not show any political allegiance?

Now, they obviously can’t achieve that across the board and there have been issues with how certain things have been reported particularly on a National level but it does still strive to be as balanced and objective as you can be these days.

Listen to any podcasts or radio shows and you are literally not allowed to state any political opinion. You can’t show any bias.

You’re in dreamland if you think there’s any media conglomerate or news channel that isn’t biased in one way.
What propaganda ever came out and said. 'Ye we are propaganda like, disclaimer n all that'

I thought the west had supplied them with sophisticated weaponry.
Not needed, here they are using WW2 resistance groups tactics successfully.
The problem with modern, sophisticated weaponry is that you often need people trained on modern, sophisticated weaponry to use it.

I saw today that the Netherlands were sending stinger missiles: even if they're MANPADs (shoulder launched), they will need people to train how to use them.

It's a few week course to use them properly, so to some extent you worry how effective they'll be, if not just a token gesture. The above tactics may be best.

Are people actually getting news from state run BBC? Starting to see why no one has a problem with Britain and USA. Actually shocked some people are to bring it up.

Wasn't it President Lincoln who refused to acknowledge the confederacy as a country? He declared war on them and said he will do everything in his power to not let them become thier own country..

I Already hear 'but..but they are the baddies' they are the hitlers like putin. Didnt you see the Hitler putin pictures all these pro america media companies made?
The match that actually lit the war was the fact that upon seceding from the country, the Confederates basically claimed that American military bases located on their soil now belonged to them. When the US wouldn’t just hand them over, the Confederates took one in South Carolina by force. That in turn led to a declaration of war. The Confederacy were the clear aggressors in that case, not the Americans.

You're the one in dream land that believes all that.

RT will claim the same things. You will look at that and laugh as you see through the bs and I wouldn't blame you.

What I stated above is fact.

It can’t achieve full objectivity because it’s pretty much impossible in this day an age, but it can’t be seen to show any bias on its products.

As I say, listen to the countless radio shows, podcasts, Tv shows outside of the news and you’ll see.

Also, don’t compare it to RT. That’s just dumb. There’s a good argument in there that you’re trying to make but you’re all over the place and don’t really know what you’re talking about because you’ve gone so far down the anti west rabbit hole.

So was lit my usa basis on foreign soil.... interesting.

Have you heard of Laura Kuenssberg

Yes, as you’ll see in a previous post, I’ve noted the issues they’ve had on a National level. She was a tory spokesperson for the most part being fed by Dominic Cummings, but it’s always had individuals like that.

I’m talking about the BBC as a whole. I think a lot of people don’t quite understand it’s role.

Anyone else have the feeling that now defeat does not look inevitable the Western powers feel more emboldened or, worse, required to ask?

At first, they may have thought sending weapons would incite Russia and probably be wasted, whereas now Ukraine appears to be doing better than expected.

Additionally, Russia may not be appearing as strong as first thought.
