I notice on that flight tracker site the USAF are in large numbers this morning flying over Poland, Romania, and Moldova, and the Black Sea area, F-16's, re-fuelers, spy planes, the lot. worrying times.

More likely to reassure NATO allies, keep more Russian air assets away from Ukraine and gather intelligence.

Slightly different thing. The BBC Charter is quite clear on the issue of independence and balanced reporting. Its independence doesn't extend to matters of state security when any / all media may come under blanket silence.

You do realise the bbc, by law has to be unbiased and not show any political allegiance?

Now, they obviously can’t achieve that across the board and there have been issues with how certain things have been reported particularly on a National level but it does still strive to be as balanced and objective as you can be these days.

Listen to any podcasts or radio shows and you are literally not allowed to state any political opinion. You can’t show any bias.

You’re in dreamland if you think there’s any media conglomerate or news channel that isn’t biased in one way.
