Not sure resorting to name calling is reasonable in any debate/discussion, Kev has a different opinion to most on here.. so be it... I'm sure I haven't seen all of his posts but from what I've seen he's giving his opinion respectively... I'm also sure if he hasn't people can quote me with examples.
Welcome to the Ukraine thread, Tipp.

Kevs behaviour saw him get banned from.this thread. I'm sure he will last a lot longer this time.

In total respect for you. Please view his posts before this past month. Then reason if he is being respectful.

Have a read through his many posts cheerleading the rape, murder and torture of innocents and I‘m sure you’ll change your mind comrade.

A high percentage of his posts can only be described as vile and disgusting.
OK..like I said I haven't seen all of his post.. I don't agree with him and have expressed that but from what I have seen he's been courteous enough.

I'm not long back on the forum after taking just over a years break from all social media.. my comment is based solely from what I've seen recently and my own interactions with him.

the Ukrainian language is primitive, comes from villages and hasnt developed beyond its peasant-like origins.

it takes the form of an indigenous language, although I dont doubt like some Aboriginal languages it has a long history.

thanks I will go to Newsround on CBBC if I need this level of update.

The grain deal benefitted only fat and over fed Europeans - millions of Africans and other poor countries will continue to starve regardless

The only beneficiaries financially are Ukraine and probably Turkey themselves.
A little taste....

On a more serious note read this shocking stuff from mr Z.

Tapping loudly on the table, Mr Zelensky rejects outright the idea of compromise with Vladimir Putin. War will continue for “as long as Russia remains on Ukrainian territory”, he says. A negotiated deal would not be permanent. The Russian president has a habit of creating “frozen conflicts” on Russia’s borders (in Georgia, for example), not as ends in themselves but because his goal is to “restore the Soviet Union”. Those who choose to talk to the man in the Kremlin are “tricking themselves”, much like the Western leaders who signed an agreement with Adolf Hitler at Munich in 1938 only to watch him invade Czechoslovakia. “The mistake is not diplomacy. The mistake is diplomacy with Putin. He negotiates only with himself.”

Actually, In 1938 Chamberlain had no other choice but to give in on Czechoslovakia. Britain was not ready for war and the parts Hitler wanted to annex from Czechoslovakia had undeniably a largely german population.
He's a clown who the west will put in the bin when they're ready to bypass him. A deal will be done

Zelensky will be eventually implicated in the corruption scandal that swirls around that regime.

TBF that is a very great distortion of what that pact represented, as well as subsequent history in WW2.

Stalin correctly recognized that at some point he (the USSR) would be on the Nazi menu and, after Munich and the seizure of the rest of Czechoslovakia, seriously tried to negotiate a military alliance with us and the French. We did not conduct those negotiations seriously, even though we'd given guarantees to most of the rest of Eastern Europe already, and one suspects they recognized that the guarantees were largely of the paper kind anyway (as they proved to be for the Poles). The Nazis were more serious about negotiating (even though all parties recognized the deals were temporary and a prelude to war) and bribed him with other people's land, to the great detriment of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Romania and most of all Poland.

It was a shameful pact, bought at the cost of hundreds of thousands of innocent lives - but its hard to see what other option Stalin had at the time. Those two years and several hundred more miles probably allowed them to survive for long enough in 1941, and therefore helped them ultimately win the war on the Eastern Front.

Plus of course there is a very great danger in accusing others of collaborating with the Nazis when living themselves in such a giant house of glass.

The best part of this thread is Kev and Dave's national front tete-à-tetes where they just agree with eachother. Combined IQ of a grapefruit. It's cute though.
@davek is a man of Peace you know?

Thats why he constantly wills the Russian war machine on while calling The Ukes and The evil West for all sorts.

Comrade Davek will be spared.
