I dont see that as an issue, as according to everyone here they would finish off Russia without problems, and Russia would be too scared to nuke NATO anyway

Fairly straightforward for NATO I would think, I am sure they could finish this off without much bother.

Couldnt they?

Maybe they don’t want an unprovoked war with Russia because nuclear Armageddon is generally seen as undesirable by all sides.

Any serious military analysis will inform you that NATO would, in conventional warfare, absolutely roll Russia. If you can provide any analysis to the contrary I’ll happily read it. Unless it’s some random Telegram channel or that American YouTuber who is mysteriously on hand for all the Russian army’s best moments. You know, put some effort in

I cannot be bothered to go through the prior posts here, but you may well have been one of the multiples who stated that Russia would never fire a nuclear weapon at NATO for fear of consequences.

That is not a outlier by the way, the MSM is full of such statements of bravado.

If you havent, fair enough - but then you are acknowledging that conventional warfare between nuclear powers is in fact redundant, which makes your second paragraph pretty much irrelevant.

As I’ve said and which you have conveniently ignored they have had no problems with interfering in non-NATO countries before including unleashing devastating shock and awe actions.
I have ignored those comments because they are completely irellevant to what we were discussing, which is the criteria for joining NATO.

If you want to discuss the morals of NATO, perhaps you should create a thread on it?

maybe I will and call it the Fears of NATO.

And to remind you, I was talking about NATO intervention in conflict and for some reason you decided to join in and realised it would suit your purposes more if we talked about NATO acceptance criteria.

The debate had moved on from mere acceptance to the point I was making about its legacy of direct intervention, the lack of which in Ukraine today might explain why Ukraine are not being accepted, as much as the 'rules' in place.
