The grain deal benefitted only fat and over fed Europeans - millions of Africans and other poor countries will continue to starve regardless

The only beneficiaries financially are Ukraine and probably Turkey themselves.

Surely a deal will move to permit Russian fertiliser and grain movement as well as Ukrainian grain exports.

It keeps diplomatic channels open and gives a potential route to a peace process.

In many ways, it's advantageous to Russia as well as Ukraine.
