My take on this is that it's all well and good people on the sidelines in the west talking up 'sacrifice' and 'victory' and denigrating talk of peace, but when they're in no danger from this war then that's a luxury they can afford.

Both Ukrainian and Russian evolved from Proto Slavic. Only someone blinded by Russian imperialistic nationalistic nonsense would think believe otherwise.
