I don't think he cares about the last bitThats what he wants his opposition to think.
He knows a nuclear war results in his own death and the bulk of Russia burnt to the ground.

You’d have voted for trump, wowBelgium wants to sell Russians diamonds...
Italy clothes etc
France wines etc
Theyve sold out the Ukraine for money.
Whoever voted for Biden i have no words for...
Johnson talked the talk but has done nothing.
Absolutely shameful.
People were pretty convinced he'd never invade Ukraine, tbhHe wouldn’t. Just like we’re not going to be using nuclear weapons over Ukraine. He’s pig-minded and a wrong’un, but he’s not that stupid.
Lack of air assets and it’s much harder to defend an entire border from three sides than it is to concentrate your forces and choose where to attack from.
In short, yes. There’s already battle groups on the ground and they’re being strengthened now and over the coming days. There’s also naval and air assets in place and up flying right now.And you mentioned the lack of preparedness to engage with "our" (collective "our" again) forces, but is that meaningfully changing even now? Would we be in any better position to defend Estonia or Latvia than Ukraine?
There’s a huge difference. Massive. If he used them, we would retaliate.People were pretty convinced he'd never invade Ukraine, tbh
We struggle to get lads to go on normal deployments as going the mental health route is too easy nowadaysWe can’t get people to wear masks when popping into a shop for 5 mins mate..
We ain’t getting people going to fight in Russia..
What you going to do throw face masks at invaders and shout freedom."we shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be.
"We shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills.
I think there'll be some negotiation that will ultimately result in Ukraine surrendering. There's no way Russia gets beaten back from this though.Read some of the posts on the following pages - should explain why.
Think Poland pays over the 2% ?Russia is around the fifth highest spenders world wide, with a high percentage versus GDP (4.5%) compared to many other nations.
The UK actually don't spend much less in fiscal terms, but it's a lower % of GDP although still above NATO 2% desire/requirement at close to 3%.
Collectively, we far outspend Russia on defence, still there's a lot more to it than that. Lots of NATO countries do not spend 2% with only US, UK and France.
There's also the issue of Russian conscription, how much they spend per solider and the general cost of equipment compared to costs her.
Their standards are increasing although the mantra has often been quantity. It costs us a lot more to train and maintain each solider compared to Russia.
Same with equipment. Still, you're right: we spend far more collectively but the issue is with efficiency and it's spread across maintaining lots of separate forces.
No you arm people like Ukraine has done. What you going to do throw face masks at invaders and shout freedom.
Is that an actual realistic amount though or a symbolic movement? I think the nominal Nato presence in Estonia is about 1,500 personnel, for instance, which wouldn't be able to do a great deal. How is that being changed? In short, yes. There’s already battle groups on the ground and they’re being strengthened now and over the coming days. Even on boats ?We struggle to get lads to go on normal deployments as going the mental health route is too easy nowadays
then he probably wouldnt care about the consequences of invading the baltics, or Poland.I don't think he cares about the last bit
