Absolutely nothing would improve global society and standards of governance more than "commentators", politicians, think tank wonks and the other talking heads being removed from the media. Alex Jones, Owen Jones, Van Jones, Nick Ferrari, that cretin Scarborough, Solovyov, Tucker Carlson, Paul Mason and the rest - put all of them in the bin.

The only people who should be asked their opinion on matters by the media are the people who actually know what they are talking about (so experts in the particular field in question) and random members of the public stopped on the street. If the expert needs an hour to explain in detail about a complex issue, they should be afforded that time.

I must admit I did find out quite a bit. Like air defence missiles will explode on the ground and leave craters and that they can cause damage to buildings - I suppose collateral damage.

It will be spending the next week or so saying that every russian missile which hits a civilian target is actually a stray Ukranian defence missile. Am I right?

Here is the unconsidered effects of their failed Ukraine invasion. Russia is bordered by a lot of countries that have capitulated in fear of Russia. If Putin cut bait 2 weeks in they would have had questions, but not much would have changed. But the damage is done, they've seen the army and the economy go to waste with Putin on a knifes edge of even keeping control over his own country.

Honestly the biggest destructive effect to Russia over the next 5 years may just be the permanent and quick change it has in all of Russia's "allies" attitude and relationships. Russia thrived on bluffs and lies and now its been shown to be a paper tiger, why live in its shadow when its about to be blown over?

Hes not Russian fortunately, and Putin cant touch a head of state so hes safe. The moment Putin touches a head of state hes assassinated within a week and he knows it, no way the paranoid old man is setting that precedent.
