Really enjoyed going back through his archive on YouTube during lockdown. I dont agree with all his conclusions but you can always find something to take away and think about.

Perfectly qualified to assess you and your little bot friend.

Both Grade A weapons
You saw what I did there.? It's really sad that anyone who strays off the party line and dares question the propaganda narrative then they are defaulted as some sort of Russian agent. Oh for the days of freedom of speech... meanwhile back in the school playground.

If you want to find out what is happening to the Ukraine army, and society, you just flip the coin from the propaganda put out by the west.

Russia is recruiting prisoners really means,

"Once condemned by Ukrainian officials and imprisoned for sadistic torture and the rape of minors, leaders of the notorious Tornado Battalion are free under Volodymyr Zelensky’s orders.
After banning virtually his entire political opposition, publishing a blacklist of foreign journalists and academics accused of advancing “Russian propaganda,” and ramming through a law exempting 70% of Ukrainians from workplace protections, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksy has freed from prison fascist militants convicted of some of the most heinous crimes the country has seen since World War II.

According to a July 11 report in Ukrainian media, Ruslan Onishenko, commander of the now-disbanded Tornado Battalion, was freed as part of President Zelensky’s scheme to release prisoners with combat experience. Along with an unwavering commitment to fascism, Onishenko is known as a psychopathic sadist who was involved in sexually assaulting children, brutally torturing prisoners, and murder".

Maybe him and his fascist gang were responsible for shooting POW.

Onishenko’s release follows a February 27 order by Zelensky to free other convicted former Tornado members like Danil “Mujahed” Lyashuk, a fanatic from Belarus who has openly emulated ISIS and boasted of torturing captives for sheer enjoyment. According to Zelensky‘s decree, prisoners with combat experience would be allowed to “compensate for their guilt” by fighting in the “hottest spots.”

Thanks for engaging but you're deflecting.

I agree countries are countries. Thank you for that. But you suggesting 87% of countries haven't sanctioned implies that sanctions lack significance. I'm saying if counties equivalent to say 70% of the world's GDV are imposing sanctions and maybe 90% of the worlds democratic countries (by economic value) that's far more relevant isn't it.

For war crimes yes of course it needs to be properly assessed after the event but in the age of modern technology the evidence already appears very strong - eg independent satellite imagery of mass graves.

On referenda my point of suggesting its a sham has nothing to do with whether or not the population wants one (questionable) its that the environment in which it is being held is not fair, open or democratic.

Please answer how can you on the one hand say its too early to judge war crimes but on the other say its perfect timing to hold such significant referenda? In the midst of a war what arguments do you both sides could offer? Indeed were the Ukrainians even offering an alternative?

Lastly - you do at least accept that Russia started all this?

Russia has hardly been affected by sanctions as it has shifted trade to the 87% and still with NATO countries. You may not have noticed by the belly achering sanctioners in this country, Europe and the US are blaming Russia for adverse economic activity - partly brought on by sanctions. For example, if Russian gas wasn't sanctioned and it hit the market in vast quantities the price would fall meaning we'd all have cheaper gas.

'Independent satellite imagery of mass graves. What the images can tell that those that dug the graves are from the Donbass and Russia? Some satellite imagery that is. Maybe real independent boots on the ground looking at ALL the evidence may come to a conclusion, based on fair, open and democratic objectivity.

As far as the referenda goes, it is up to those people in the 4 regions that decide, when they want to hold referendums. Just like in Crimea which was open, fair and democratic - that is people voted.

As far as who started all this, I've wrote about that.

Are you guarding them all and doing a head count are you kidda? ?

I suppose you are the guardian of information.

"My area is not specific to Ukraine but I do have colleagues at my institute advising the FCDO on areas relating to the conflict"

I wonder how your colleagues, at your institute, felt when Truss never knew where Rostov and Voronezh were. Or did THEY tell her it was in Ukraine?

"The British Embassy in Moscow was forced Thursday to clarify a series of remarks made by Foreign Minister Liz Truss during a tense meeting with her Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov.

In the closed-door meeting, Lavrov had asked Truss whether the U.K. accepted that two Russian regions — Voronezh and Rostov — belonged to Russia and that Russia had the right to move troops and equipment to the areas.

According to Russia’s Kommersant business daily, Truss replied that “the U.K. will never recognize Russian sovereignty over these regions.”

Commentators said the British politician likely thought Lavrov was referring to Donetsk and Luhansk — the two breakaway regions of eastern Ukraine controlled by pro-Russian separatists. Truss was quickly corrected by the British Ambassador in the meeting".

Imagine if someone wrote that they worked in an institute that advised the Russia Foreign ministry and posted things. I wonder what they would get called?

Thanks kidda ?

On the first, my comments, he's lucky having had his sneakers, stove and all money stolen that nobody needed his fully charged mobile phone with internet access which he's walking all the way through the cutthroat camp advertising he has .

Second video is a very well shot one, given how easily the Ukranians have used face recognition software to identify Russian dead, looking forward to them showing the guys name and unit shortly. Seems a very civil orderly surrender though, no mistreatment, ukraine soldiers showing zero aggression, hostility, or even concern really.

Both seem very legitimate.
