Second video is a very well shot one, given how easily the Ukranians have used face recognition software to identify Russian dead, looking forward to them showing the guys name and unit shortly. Seems a very civil orderly surrender though, no mistreatment, ukraine soldiers showing zero aggression, hostility, or even concern really.

Both seem very legitimate.

I suppose you could be right, it might be how Russians are choosing to speak out.

Given that Putins propoganda puppets have been saying the same i suspect it is (both) probably not Russian protest but true.

Just reading how the Ukrainian soldiers are kitted out compared to these conscripts is alarming for a great nation to give no success for their own troops. Just the night vision alone gives the Ukrainians absolute advantage in the combat zone at darkness. Not even the training of command-and-control advantage being considered this is absolutely alarming. Corruption has devasted and humbled a great army.
The recent ordinance delivered killing innocent people in Putins terror campaign is showing the absolute weakness on remaining stocks which again the recent advent of European parts not being available will be huge. Sanctions will cut the head of snake eventually.

Having to bring in 220,000 conscripts is pretty embarrassing for one of the biggest armies in the world. It’s not a show of force, it’s an admission that your country is a joke.
