I reckon Russian could EASILY get away with dropping a few nukes on Ukraine.

The West would condemn them, but we wouldnt retaliate.

This is the truth of the matter.

Aye - I hear ya. I think from the US side of the house they know that China, North Korea and Iran are all looking at this situation with a keen interest.

If the US effectively abandons Ukraine to avoid the sunshine scenario then does that mean it’s open season for China to take a pop at Taiwan or for the Norks to attack the south or for Iran to have a go at Israel?

I think world order is now in the balance / I’m just worried that we have Biden at the top of the tree.

Get the bacofoil back out, but Iran is experiencing a big disruption out of nowhere. Could trade a Taiwan for a South Korea. North Korea doesn't need to be any more of a headache for China.

Doesn't seem to be any plans to de-escalate anytime soon on the horizon.

I think we've been edging closer to ww3 over the past month or so.

Hope I'm wrong and someone steps up and does the necessary in the Kremlin.

One way of looking at the stalemate is this: if they do run it all the way up the bat, who gets removed first? Putin by his own, or Biden by the Senate?

What we're seeing makes it look like both of them are thinking, "The other guy."

And now in his speech Putin said "United States created a precedent for the use of nuclear weapons."

Could be excuse for using them, and if he starts, we all know it not gonna stop there

Think it'll be short range stuff,the US like wars to be a few thousand miles away. Lots of $ to be made from cleaning up the aftermath.

I doubt that last statement very much. They will held to answer in a extreme way. Putin only knows one thing "Strength" when he sees his bluff is called he will finally come to the conclusion his Empire building is over.
