Bolasie.

Bolasie is uniquely bad as he cost decent money and was 100% known to be mediocre in the premier league.
At least with Niasse or Tosun there was a tiny outside chance of them being good. Teams with money to burn make those sort of overseas signings all the time.

considering the names on maccavennie's top 100 list, it does make me wonder why Everton have had a propensity over the years of buying players that are:

A) too slow.
B) have an ungainly gait.
C) immobile.

you could apply these three attributes to around 80% of the stinkers on the list.

When are we going to learn that winning teams just don't employ these types of players.

Ibrahima Bakayoko, rodrigo, Anderson silva, segundo castillo, eddie bosnar, sander westerveld, espen baardsden, andy van der meyde,

Of those, Silva, Castillo, Westerveld & Baardsen were loans, the last two emergency goalkeepers who only played because of injuries to regular keepers. Bosnar didn't play a single minute of football for the first team. Rodrigo cost peanuts iirc, and suffered a pretty bad injury soon after joining us. I'll give you VDM and Bakayoko, though even those two had their moments.

Don't think so, unless there are two Glen Roeders. The bloke who managed West Ham and Newcastle was quite a decent centre half for Newcastle IIRC.

He was getting chants after two games for us. He did well but only played about 20 games for us and was then out injured for about 3 years.
