Didn't like Radzinski and the way he left. Just a reminder...

So I’ve seen a lot of this and for the life of me I can’t remember what went on when he left. Remind me why we hate him again?

He went on about being better than the club and having more ambition than being at Everton. Was it Fulham he went to? Either way, he did the square root of naff all after leaving and was forgotten about thereafter unless you dredge through the mind to remember what you'd rather not.

I remember him scoring a winner (his 2nd?) against Southampton which I enjoyed. There's quite a few good moments from those stinkers. Overall though they did stink.

Terry Phelan was great for us in the small amount of time he played before injury.

Remember it being a mental signing at the time, a 27 year old random full back who’d played about 30 professional games.

I think he was highly touted as a youngster but was destroyed by injury. I didn't mind signing him as it was obviously in the vain hope that we could get him fit and playing again.

Evidently wasn't happening...

He was signed as a favour to his agent - Raiola - in the hope that it would help negotiations with some of his rather more exciting clients.

He also publicly advised Rooney to leave during that summer of 2004. That didn't go down well

I recall the Fulham game when Radzinski made his first return here and he was roundly booed all game, by contrast, Mark Pembridge, who was also playing against us for the first time since he left, got a really warm reception.
