Just like the highest profile pedo case in the land apparently never reached the director of public prosecutions for the CPS?

Starmer the ultimate establishment toady who has got where he is today by covering up for everyone who needed it over the years.

People may have become so desensitised to it over the years now, but it was very well published at the time what mandelsons links to Epstein were and Starmer appointed him anyway.

People making excuses for Starmer are the opposite side of the same coin as the MAGA who won’t acknowledge Trumps toes because it would involve breaking out of incredibly deep reflexive loyalty to a political party.

Anyway, back to Epstein: Starmer is clearly having a laugh when he says he had to take Mandelson's word for it that there was nothing to his connection with Epstein. The evidence was there all around him. FFS a newspaper like the Financial Times spelled it out to Starmer in the days before his appointment of Mandelson to Washington...and Im pretty sure he'd have had all the answers he needed from the country's intelligence services.

It's an insult to try and get Starmer out of this by ignoring all that. A real pisstake. Starmer will pay for his appalling judgment with his job. No question of that, and righty so.

What he should have been sacked for before all this though is his squandering of a landslide win. Instead of telling the bond markets to go and swing it if they signalled their displeasure at any potential spending he and Reeves have been dictated to by them: threatening the old and the disabled and saving cash instead of investing. And the massive carve up of the NHS and handing it over to corporations like Plantir who have their fingers in other government departments too - all on Starmer's watch.

That's why the electorate detest Starmer. That's why Labour will lose in Gorton and Denton. All Mandelson/Epstein/Starmer does is reinforce that an out of touch elite didn't vacate government in July 2024, it just mutated into the Labour variety.

Can we start with Peter Mandelson? "There's not a day that goes by when I don't try to destablise Jeremy Corbyn." If he put half as much effort into fighting the Tories we'd be getting somewhere.

I wonder what Tristan Hunt (the name FFS!) thinks today, given he jumped ship to put Corbyn right in it for the Tories and his own party's Blairites?

Your opinion isn't fact, it is just your opinion.

If you're here just to provoke a negative reaction, then crack on. If you're hear to actually persuade people, language like that isn't going to help your cause.

You disagree with a decision Starmer made, when he considered there to not be enough evidence for prosecution. That is a perfectly reasonable thing to disagree with him on (though I expect you will realise you are far less informed than he, in those matters).

And Thatcherism hasn't forever tarnished encouraging personal aspiration as a way of improving the life of one's self...
