Michelle Dewbury has been backed to the gunnels by "Lord" Alan Sugar. She's done his bidding. And we all know what that rancid get thinks of Corbyn.

A criminal conviction is not the metric I'm asking for. She appears to believe that "evidence" is her tweeting her opinion she'd been abused on her account and / or someone claiming to be a member of Momentum abusing her.

Is that the criteria we should lower proof of bullying to?

As I said elsewhere above: if you want to condemn bullying maybe you can start by condemning the day to day character assassination of Jeremy Corbyn....which is very real and has already resulted in him being ASSAULTED.

I don't know what evidence she has as Mason talked over her at every opportunity. I quite agree btw that the person attacking Corbyn is reprehensible. I'm not sure there can be any doubt about that, but I hoped it wouldn't be a case of tit for tat or wharraboutism. One of the endearing features of Corbyn's emergence on the front bench was his appeal for a better form of politics that wasn't the playground squabbling it so often becomes. That must apply to all of his disciples too, surely?

Inappropriate Language
Bullying only works one way with these people. They can say what they like about Corbyn and Momentum, it's all fair game. I remember a journalist from the FT calling us 'thick as pig sh!t'.

My experience of the 'bullying' on Twitter is these people not enjoying being called out for their views. You look at Frances Barber calling Owen Jones a '[Poor language removed]' last night. The reason? Well there wasn't one. She then started to claim she was being bullied...

It does, but how does that cover this situation with Dewberry?

She's making accusations about a political group who aren't there to represent themselves. Mason, who to my knowledge is not in Momentum, is asking her to provide proof.

I suppose you can get into the realms of body language and facial analysis but the substantive point is that Mason said nothing wrong.

This whole bullying thing is a scam designed to subvert the left of the LP primarily. However, it is being used more widespreadly than that and is now a key tool in the rise of McCarthyism in our whole of our political discourse.

It's a major distraction from the looming Brexit disaster and holding those responsible for it to account.

If you know someone who's been on the receiving end of bullying or some other form of abuse, ask them how they'd feel about being subjected to that kind of questioning. There's a reason so few victims of abuse are willing to come forward about it, and Mason's demeanour doesn't help matters.

Come on. There's bullying in the work place/school and there's random people saying not very nice things about you on Twitter. Her accusation comes from the fact she got 5.5% of the vote.

You can often find her chuckling along side Nick Ferrari on some right wing debate show Sky News hosts. Now if there ever was someone who I'd imagine to be a bully...

FFS, I get that on here every day!

These public "figures" [in reality self-publicists for commercial gain] are very quick to describe themselves as tough and uncompromising in their self-agrandising rise from rags to riches stories, but they also know how to cry foul quicker than most too...because they know it pays, as the media are receptive to it...and that's all grist to the mill for them. A (un)virtuous circle.

There's some people who really are bullied and deserve a lot of support...I suspect that Ms Dewsberry isn't one of them.

As I said mate, she just didn't like the fact she lost badly. People should actually bother to look at what Momentum is. It isn't the boogie man, it's just a bunch of people fed up with the current system organising themselves in a way that threatens the status quo. Hence the reason they are vilified.

If the journalists in our country had respect for democracy they'd celebrate Momentum's rise. They've done more to engage people with politics than the two main parties have since colour TV was invented.

Tom Watson's "Britain First" group first meeting....attracted a handful of MPs plus Peers like Neil Kinnock, Glenys Kinnock, John Prescott, Mandelson, Blunkett, Peter Hain....and Prescott scarpered early.

Oh dear. Dad's Army. Quite apt for a bunch calling itself "Britain First". Maybe Home Guard would have been more appropriate though.
