when i saw the thread title my heart soared. aaaah! yes no more nnneville, i hope he leaves and god forbid he has anything to do with us again, no coaching, no assistant toilet sweeper or even selling stinking badges outside the church- eff off neville for good - something stinks about the guy i tells ya
Do you like drawing attention to yourself? Surely you're on a wind up mission here?

Still our most disciplined and effective defensive mid? (At being purely defensive). TBH we look more susceptible to counter attack without him.

Dont rule out capn pip just yet.

Which is a very good point. Especialy in terms of keeping clean sheets and away games which we have struggled with.

its my honest opinion of the fella, hes been poor for his entire stay with us, bad crosses/passes etc , everyone seems to love him coz hes `good` for the team by shouting blah blah- not in my eyes. btw i`m not into wind ups or drawing attention to myself

No chance, he'll be in the team as soon as he's fit enough to play 90 minutes, which he wasn't against Manchester Utd, he'd only just returned according to Moyes. He shouldn't, but that's the way it works, unless you bury your head in the sand like Matt Damon.

Strange opininon in my eyes, but everyone is entitled to his own I guess. Still think your post is lacking a bit of respect for him, but hey, who am I to tell you how to behave? Personally I am of the opinion that he has been a superb captain and a great servant to our club and that's not because he's good at shouting blah blah.

Btw , when I first saw the Thread Title , I thought our fav' Manc' had fell out with BLS .

Surprised me , like , he's mellow as fuk , Nev' .

So is BLS for that matter , though ,...

Ho-Hum .

It's been a couple of weeks since we had a Cap'n Nev rallying cry in the Echo. He'll raise his profile again this week - guaranteed. He knows how to play the political game. Out of sight is out of mind.

Awards 5 Gold Politburo / KGB points to DK , for seeing through the BOLLOX .

Per Sempre , Comrade .

If only there was a way to combine the mental, leadership and defensive ability of Neville, attacking play of Coleman, and the .....the.....the loyalty of Hibbert, we'd have the best right back ever!

We did but it was back in the 80s, his name was Gary Stevens.

Also last full time Irish RB we had was Mick Meagan.

I put in the Seamus thread , ages ago , that the young lad would be right back by Xmas , and the other two wait their turn .

I have not changed me mind . Hibbo's defending got him the nod y'day , but BOTH will be superceded by Shay .

Pip will do the , utility man thing for the rest of the season .

This.

It won't be the end of neville by just sitting on the bench. Look at Gary Neville, he's 36 now and his impact on the field like the old days isn't missed, off the field he can have as much an impact like the old days. Same goes with neville. On the field...he's not the best of defenders to play against top wigers, strikers. It's his experience and example that's needed. You can get that experience off the field by him aswell and if you don't give the better players a chance for his leadership then that's not a good idea cos I think Mikel is also a very good example on the field....always calm and looks a gentleman..like roger federer!

Mikel will be a fantastic captain and he's deffo someone everyone listens to

Quoted from the Sunday Herald:

As for the manager, the pinnacle of jobs in the world must be Old Trafford. In my mind there is no shadow of doubt that when Sir Alex chooses to retire David Moyes is far from unimaginable as his successor. As yet he might not have won a trophy but he’s top three in this division. For Everton it would be no shame to have the manager offered the chance to take over at United – just so long as we’ve won that trophy first.

WTF?!

We're here to service his old club? It'd be an "honour" for Everton to have their manger poached by United is what he's saying.

This feller has no ******* idea of the identity of the club he's captain of.

**** off Neville, you arsehole
