Yes, I've been subjected to lectures from many clever sorts on such matters. I spend too much time in pubs which serve as University of Life seminar discussion rooms for my own good.

How I've not pummelled a few folk I don't know, their idiocy offends me. They're so mind numbingly idiotic and they're not even aware of it. Yet they confidently espouse stupid stupid stupid things.

The people currently rampaging and burning shops and hotels should be locked up. But again for the thousandth time, do not accuse all of the 17.4million people who voted to leave the EU either of being party to this criminality or of being inherently racist, it’s insulting……

I don’t have a racist agenda, never had and never will, no matter how many times you throw this at me just because you refuse to admit illegal migration is just that, illegal. I have no problem with anyone, from anywhere, coming to the U.K. legally, as the vast majority do….

I’ll try . If you live in Gaza , Russia or Nigeria and you’re persecuted for whatever reasons . Persecuted to a degree where your life is legitimately under threat so you decide to flee . You speak English as your family were anglophiles and your aunt and uncle live in the UK . What would you do to comply with your demands to legally apply here ?

I only speak as I find Pete and an awful lot of those I personally know who go on about leaving the EU do go on about such things. And they're expressing sympathy or trying to justify the actions of the bell ends on the streets.

Yes, many who got out have resources to pay to get out. They're the skilled, educated middle class.

Know of an Eritrean former Prof. of Economics working as a cleaner in Wolverhampton. They flee, they can't verify qualifications or identity etc. Because they're frequently scared to try and make contact back home as they fear certain regimes.

Must be a serious mental ordeal. Flee home, lose your lot, go through our system, finally get given the chance to work, can't do what you're trained to do. You end up in Wolverhampton. Ffs.

I asked you before and you didn't answer. How would your in law living in Saudi Arabia apply for asylum if they feared for their safety on account of being gay? Oh, and please don't throw that appalling legislation around as you had exactly the same views long before that hit the statute books. Accept what you are.

Nigeria is in the top 7 for legal migration to the U.K. Ignoring EU countries, top is India, then Pakistan, then Nigeria. Legal migrants vastly outnumber those arriving illegally….

It’s a part answer. The reason I mentioned Nigerians coming in legally suggests that there is an existing process for Nigerians to do so. I have no idea regarding people from Gaza nor Russia…

Well I know Nigerians that live here I also know that it’s not uncommon for Nigerian women to seek asylum on the grounds of sexual abuse /violence . I also know up towards a 1000 people have been arrested over the last few days in anti government protests and a number killed so people may seek to flee .

My point Pete is there is no way to seek asylum in this country and comply with your demands it be ‘legal ‘ so my question is what do you suggest they do ?

I’ve no idea as my in laws live in the USA, Romania and the Philippines. My son works in Saudi and his family is in the Philippines and he would be unable to get visas for them to be in Saudi with him. I’m sorry Bruce, but I try to reply respectfully to posts without recourse to using foul language, casually calling people racists etc, which you have done with every post over the last night or so. Stifling debate by the use of such posts does not benefit anyone, neither migrants nor existing populations. It does nothing to address issues and if anything it just stirs up the type of trouble as is now seen across the country….

Fully agree with your first paragraph and partially with the second. London and what goes on there plays an important part in the publicity and glamorisation in the use of these knives and swords. Genghis Khan also has his fingerprints all over this when he promised to cut stop and search if elected. But there has been an absolute failure by the likes of Theresa May who kicked off this madness and hollowed out the police force. Political cowardice in this matter is the real villain…..

You are of course right, in future I will use the Angela Rayner term of endearment and call him Scum Khan. Thanks for the tip……
