She's incredible. I do admit it's a shame we never got to see Truss in the LotO role at PMQs but without that Kemi has got to be the most ineffective of recent times. Look forward to it every week now, it's unsurprisingly like watching someone represent themselves in court having just crammed a few facts the night before floundering against a high-priced lawyer.
Her laziness is palpable , she has a reputation for turning up to meeting unprepared and it shows. That being said, that is likely seen as a virtue to right wing voters
I keep reading about various parts of the job being things she doesn't enjoy, or want to do. She apparently doesn't like:
Prepping for the detail required for PMQs
Traditional media appearances
Gladhanding donors or party members
Drafting policy (yet, at least)
Engaging with Tory MPs outside her circle
Any facet of party management
And I'm left thinking what exactly made her want the job in the first place?
I invented flipping burgers at wimpy to tussle for the same job at mcdonalds and burger king.
