I said it at the start, if you had to pick worst options for this season considering the moment we are in as a club with new owners/stability off pitch/new stadium

They would be first the likes of Dyche or other equivalents

And second Moyes

The first would drive everybody crazy and the second would immediately split the fan base into pro/anti/tolerant with those tolerant of his appointment not taking too long to flip to anti given they have seen all this before

It simply wasn't the best option for the fan base when we all want a new start and something to really get behind. Even if you like him you would have to be blind to think David Moyes was a good option for us all to rally around stepping into a new era

We started out with all these arguments as the default setting for where we are right now. If you signed up fully for Moyes for me you are signing up fully for all of this

All of that disappeared last january when Dyche forced them to change. If he hadnt been making such a pigs ear of the job they would have held out and appointed end of season. I dont think that would have been Moyes. As it was who knows if the new era would have started in the championship. Anyone who thinks Everton were not in a relegation fight last january are deluded. We were THAT bad.
Interesting though had we been 10 points clear and coasted to the end of the season who they would have gone for.

I am unable to understand why some of our fans vote yes and to go on and on never even getting close to winning anything, plus wasting a lot of money buying dud player, maybe I cant see what others can see, but I very much don't think so. If I am wrong I absolutely dread more of Moyes next season. Having seen the blues win quite a number of things over my 75years of watching it makes me feel I will never see again under Moyes.
I can't speak for everyone but for me it was nice to enjoy this season compared to the seasons under the last three managers. I could handle another one that might include Europe of some sort. I dont want him forever but I'd want us to be very sure of getting an upgrade before taking the plunge. He definitely is not as bad as some make him out to be

No. He came in last year with 19 games to go so half a season, so just carried on the same basis. There was nothing clever or sinister in, it’s just makes comparison easier.

Well im gona base it on his only full season. Its where we end up on that. I could be generous to moyes and say two managers last season had 19 games each. One got 17 points one got 31. But im not because it was a split season.
If Everton get over 50 points this season it will be only the 2nd time in 8 years.
If being the word. Seasons not over yet.

With all respect, this is how we ended up with brexit. It doesn't mean one half know what they are talking about.

We have gone from consistently fighting relegation for years to having one and a half in relative peace, Everton are still mid-rebuild. We all know Moyes has a celling, but we're not there yet. He excels when things are up against it, for instance under a different manager when we lost the AFCON players, had suspensions and a load of injuries we could have well slid down into trouble again. Who knows if Ndiaye/Garner are still here next season.

We need to strengthen to a point we have a more than solid team that are challenging for the top European spots and are out spending the others year on year to grow the gap between us and the mid-table sides. Once we get to that point then a change wouldn't be so risky. Of course if there is a world class manager who wants in and has players that will fall over themselves to join, then that's a different matter.

Lots of examples this season where clubs have changed managers and have jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire. Until we have working full backs and forwards, I can't see why anyone thinks this is the time to change.
Can't disagree with that to be fair.
