Yeah I already know that but we are talking about what they should be doing and that's showing some damn ambition!
Nice one mate, good ideaStarted a specific thread- whack it in there if you don't mind bud
This is the problem, we all knew these clowns wanted to keep him, the unwavering refusal to consider change in the face of questions is a huge red flag. We’ve got bum owners, a bum CEO and a fossilised manager

I was trying to remember who else had sent an email, twas you!Nice one mate, good idea![]()
Yeah it was - I also sent a different email to KinnearI was trying to remember who else had sent an email, twas you!
I will post it in the new thread. The away results (not performances) papered over some Grand Canyon sized cracks and duped many blues. The clues were there all along with the shocking home form. It's difficult because this has all come to a head just after the seasons ended. There's been a handful on here banging the drum for Moyes to replaced for a while but the vast majority of the fanbase has only turned in the last couple weeks of the season and there aren't any games left for us to make our feelings known in front of TV cameras.
That being the case it's hard to know what you can do to try and affect things other than writing emails that are probably going straight in the bin.
Yeah obviously I've been quite vocally against Moyes since last summer but resisting the urge to do any I told you so's, because at the end of the day you can hardly blame blues for wanting to get behind the team and manager. Especially when we somehow had ended up chasing European football. The away results (not performances) papered over some Grand Canyon sized cracks and duped many blues. The clues were there all along with the shocking home form.
Not winning the 2 games needed for Europe, out of 7, swung it for most.
Unfortunately I’m starting to get the sense TFG have no idea what their actual strategy is. Their board level appointments were essentially just a few people from within their company, God knows why we expected them to formulate any sort of cohesive footballing strategy. If he’s not (as it would now seem) going to get sacked, we’ve now got an awkward 12 months where Moyes has a contract running down. Our squad, most of whom have just rolled from relegation battles to 13th placed finishes, don’t need much of an excuse to underperform, so this doesn’t bode well.
The owners have boxed themselves into a corner here. They either have to give Moyes an extension- which will be extremely unpopular, or leave him to run his contract down and hope the players don’t switch off even more than they already do. Neither of these are good options.
New stadium doesn’t mean anything other than a new place to play football and more revenue (either for the team or the owners). Middlesbrough, Sunderland all moved to new stadiums and played subsequent seasons in the championship having been relegated. We should just accept that our club is pathetic and mediocre again? That the new stadium was a lie? That we are standing still yet again while everyone around us improves? That the extent of our ambition is an 8th place finish? That when we sack this manager in November we will yet again be looking in the bargain bin for his replacement in a panic?
Europe and injuries probably find more harm tbfStrange thing to say when we've got the evidence he actually did do worse and played a big part in Spurs nearly getting relegated. Also went out of the cups very early just like we did.
I think some people hate Moyes so much they lose objectivity which doesn't help the argument at all.
