Get a grip. If you bothered to check you'd see the lad is quite highly rated and only 18, the Arsenal fans were annoyed he left. What about signing a promising keeper smells of panic?

I will reserve my judgement on him until I seeing play...until then it is fair to say that he is a big unknown/untested

So what would you want Everton to do? Spend 15-20m on a better, proven goalkeeper to replace Stekelenburg even though he likely will not see a minute of action this season unless Pickford gets an injury? Do you not think that sort of money would be better placed in pursuing a quality first-choice centre-back?

It just doesn't bear thinking about does it. It would be like we instantly step back to last season, not being able to hold on to a lead or losing games we should be winning. Let's just hope the new lad we signed from Arsenal does OK.
