Think that's a stretch. I think the worst part of all of that was Snides marking no one while looking directly at how open Ings was. We need a new midfield, also don't understand how Silva sat the only decent one we do have.
He had a season left on his contract anyway though, that extension to 2020 wasn’t needed at all. He should’ve been saved for an injury to Pickford, we should never have voluntarily started him in a match.

His distribution cost us some possible counter attacks, hed hesitate to long until the oppotunity has gone.
..I doubt it’s as simple these days. Veteran keeper with a final pay day from a move to France and who knows what his contract said about an obligatory years extension or what was agreed verbally about moving in his final year.
